He isn't Norman, there were rumors he maybe some kinda of hobgoblin type character, that Norman experiments on with an early formula but that was a long time ago, he may simply be a random scientist. Norman is not cast.

Dafoe had a great creepy voice which was about all he could do to save face in that Goblin get up he had.

I'm assuming you are referring to Irrfan Khan who was originally the part of Niels Van Adder, who becomes Proto-Goblin in the books. If you look at IMDB though the part has changed from Niels Van Adder to Dr. Ratha, so that connection to the Marvel Universe may have been scrapped.

Lizard is iconic, if they bring back any goblins for this series I hope they make them much more similar to their comic counterparts, the goblin and hobgoblin were sick as hell villains for Spidey.

Still hope venom shows up. He is the scariest spider villian after all. Name one villain that doesnt want to kill spider man but make him go insane until he begs for death. Venom is truly scary.

I loved that story

I'd also like to see Carnage but you kinda need to have established Venom first.

My idea for Spider-Man 4 was to have Kraven hear of this amazing Spider-Man and come to NY to hunt him, previously MJ was attacked by escaped serial killer Cletus Cassidy and is currently in a Coma. Peter becomes infurriated (like in Back in Black) and hunts for Cassidy. Cassidy ends up bonding with the sliver of Symbiote in the lab from SM3 becoming Carnage.

So Pete must deal with Kraven hunting him while he hunts Carnage and the best thing is no dancing and no MJ making pete cry and rescue her again

I wonder how quickly, without rushing the villain's they could do a build up to the Sinister Six. Seems unlikely, and I'd rather see a more accurate and menacing Goblin first but it would be cool if this series can run long enough.

After Goblin, as much as I do love Ock and Sandman, I'd prefer to see villains we haven't seen yet, Electro would be cool. Also Black Cat, Mysterio, Kraven and Vulture, and at some point they need to introduce J.J.J, so maybe do it with a Scorpion story to change things up.

I liked Kraven's Last Hunt but it wouldn't work as a movie.

There have been rumors that Sony's financial problems (-$6.5B last year) have put them in a position where they may need to sell Spidey back to Marvel. They just want to see how this movie does so they know how much to ask for.

Last week I'd have been very excited to hear that, after the latest trailer, I'd prefer if Sony keeps it.

I think this is looking good, and I'm just not ready for a 3rd reboot, that would be truely retarded.

The only way to make that work for me, would be if Marvel continues with what they do in this one, the same cast etc, and then just throw him into the next Avengers.

In the comics, did Spidermans webs come organically from his wrists or did he have web shooters like in the new movie ?
