Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

so youre saying they would have looked better if they looked like they were wearing leotards? cuz that's pretty much what youre saying, wolverine should have had yellow tights on, :dunno

I'm saying they don't all have to look like Nolan's Batman....wearing pads and etc. And Bullseye looked awful in DD, as well as Daredevil and Elektra did. The X-men costumes sucked, Blade was okay, and Fantastic Four looked okay and they were wearing tights..Magneto looked awful in the films as well.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

no im just saying i like this suit more than the one from other movies, I know it looks busy because of the colors but if it was the original colors it would have been really cool,
or if Raimi did something like the black suit, which was kinda shiny a little bit, it looked a little tougher in texture ( I KNOW it was alien, Im just saying what the actor was wearing, looked a little tougher)

Understandable BUT, my point is you don't necessarily have to sacrifice the classic look. The suit textures really make it look convoluted, maybe if they dialed it back a little.

i really dont understand why the batman comments, im comparing this new spiderman suit with the old spiderman suit, movie wise, im also talking about the suit in spider man 3,
Batman is completely unrelated, i have no idea why you guys keep naming batman,

super heroes in comic books look like ballet dancers, but is just comics, but when they make live action movies they would look silly, so they do a couple of changes, I know the whole point of spiderman is to look like a ballet dancer as well so they could not change the costume, but this movie did what Raimi should have done, what they did for the black costume in the third movie, play with the textures a little bit, they could have just tried other textures, im not saying I want spiderman to be wearing Kevlar or a bullet proof vest, the only thing im saying is that I really like the way the suit looks in this new movie,

I'm sorry but the way your comments about him being scraped along buildings and etc led me to believe you wished he were more geared up a la Nolan's Batman. That's how your whole exchange with Deckard reads off to me, but my mistake then.

oh I guess I understand now, when I see the first movies it just takes me off the movie to see him getting beat up and crashing through windows and like getting hit over and over, and he doesn't even have a scratch sometimes, is like spiderman in the Raimi movies only gets hurt or the suit gets ripped when is convenient,
like towards the end, like I Was saying in the fight with Sandman, he beats him up at the beginning and throws him out of a car but he is fine, or Doc Oc throwing bricks at him,
is like Spidey gets in all these fights around the city you would think that suit would be torn daily, then when he gets the black suit it looks different, looks kinda shiny and like thicker because of the alien,

and, you mentioned Hulk but they even make fun of his stretchy purple sweatpants in the The Incredible Hulk, when Liv Tyler brings Edward Norton the purple pants and she goes "But they're Stretchy" is like the movie itself is making fun of the Hulk from the comics, his shorts

Edit:
If he's trolling, he got me good.:(

I just saw this, and no, im not trolling, I really think what I said,

Nam even got it wrong because i never mention Batman you guys did, but he thinks I Want spiderman to look like batman which means that NAM only read half the posts thinking I Wanted spiderman to be like batman and decided to come here and start messing with me as well :monkey4 :monkey4 :monkey4

Honestly, Spider-Man's epidermis is as resilient as a spider's would be at his size. The guy gets put through buildings, cars, the street, etc., by the heavy hitters from his rogues gallery and other characters like Hulk. He could easily swing around naked and not worry about getting itty bitty scratches from buildings. Wearing armor is a ridiculous idea and it looked ridiculous when he had the silver armored costume and equally ridiculous during Civil War when he had the Stark suit.

well.. mmm... that's kinda true, I guess you are right,
I never suggested armor though, ever, the only thing, The Only thing I said was that I like the suit in this movie more than the suit in the Raimi movies as far as the Basketball texture goes, or I like the black suit from SP3 as well, that's the only thing I was trying to say,
but then these guys started to say that spiderman would look stupid in a suit that was like Nolan's batman, which I didn't even understand why the comparison to batman since I never even mention him,
you make a point i guess, I still like the texture of this suit, looks cool

Again, you used physical damage as a reason for him to wear something not so ballet looking. What else would you wear but some sort of gear/armor for that? Just saying that's what your posts looked like, at least the one quoted by Deckard.

anything, like the basketball suit in this movie, or latex :lecture
look at Kick ass, he got a diving suit, which was really smart because a diving suit is tight like a leotard and looks good, while it still protects you a little, (Of course Kick Ass got Stabbed, I know that,) Im just saying that suit was a little more realistic,

but like NAM said, Spidey has Rhino skin so he doesn't need anything, he could fight crime naked,
see Nam jokes a lot but he was the only one that had a good point, that Spidey doesnt need it because of his rhino skin,

but, something made like a diving suit could have worked, which is kinda what this movie did

So anything that's not cotton is fine?

I don't know, I guess Is something that every comic character does, that's why i was saying only the movies,
I just always had a hard time buying that someone that looks like this:

tumblr_m07rdw7oRr1qc1wyfo1_500.jpg

is going around a city fighting all these bad guys and not being naked by the end of the day, specially swinging around concrete buildings all day and getting beat up
in comics and cartoons is not as obvious as in real life,

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Whatever you gotta do to justify the way you dress. :huh

Hey Hey, Now come on, I am not the one defending the Ballet dancer here, you guys are the ones that seemed a little too happy with the suit spidey wears, Im against it remember,
