Sandman beats him up and pushes him out of a moving car, Doc Oc throws bricks at him,
but Spidey's suit only tears when is convenient for the story, the rest he already really acts like he is wearing leather, sometimes it looks like he is wearing unbreakable cloth in those movies. the only times his costume torns out is always near the end, and when his mask comes off, is like a way to make him look vulnerable, like i said, convenient,

At last year's Comic-Con, Avi Arad was asked about the potential of Spider-man and The Avengers meeting up on the big screen and he brushed it off. He seemed to think Spider-Man had enough stories behind him that he didn't need to be a part of the team.
Now after the movie juggernaut that The Avengers has become, he's having second thoughts.
When talking to Crave Online about it Arad said, "Everything is possible. If something like that happens, it’s great for Disney, it’s great for Sony, if the right story comes in. We are now working on Venom first. It’s our first out, so our thinking is in the right direction. Avengers to me was an expected success so I never looked at it because Avengers was successful.”
"The way to make team-up movies work is to create the raw materials, both technically and creatively, in other movies first," he continued. "Team-ups can happen once you create the character, establish the CG, otherwise it’s not affordable.”

i agree with Avi

Spidey doesn't need to be apart of a team especially the Avengers who operate on a larger scale than Spidey's class as a street-level hero

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Blackmask, I get what you're saying. Don't know why no one else around these parts can't read... That said, the suit still sucks :lol

What's that quote about Venom above? Really? They didn't learn their lesson from SM3? Rushing to get to Venom again? Am I reading that correctly? Those of you optimistic about this series are so effed if I'm reading his quote about Venom and the Avengers correctly :slap

You should worry more about the plotholes and impossible escapes in Batman, like how does a man with 4th degree burns function normally without pain killers and what unseen force keeps 2-Face's eye in it's socket? How do both Batman and Rachel walk away from the highrise fall completely undamaged? How do roof beams support a 2+ ton tank strolling across their roofs?

Ugh... Is Venom planned for the sequel? Or even worse... a solo film? :slap

What do you think? Think Spider-Man appearing in an Avengers movie is ever gonna happen?

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

It's in Disney/Marvel's best interest to let Sony, who's borderlining bankruptcy, run Spider-Man into the ground so they get the property back. I don't ever see Fox letting the FF or X-Men licenses go after the success of Avengers.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

The Avengers have such a ridiculously deep roster to draw from, do we really need Spidey in there?
