Do most of the people who like this movie hate the character of Spider-Man?
This was terrible. What was up with the music? Piano banging horror chords when the handicap-drug-using-doctor-CGI-Gone-Bad thing was looking Gwen was crazy. That was not close to representing the Lizard from the comics. It looked liked the bad guys from that equally awful Mario Bros. movie.
Music wasnt the best, totally agree. CGI wasnt the best either, and Lizard looked like tehs goombah!
Peter Parker is a nerd. Spider-Man is cool. Peter Parker also does not get girls so easily. Gwen is hot. Girls like Gwen date football-playing-bully-types, not the yearbook photographer. The police captain's daughter is looking for a rebel, not a kid that gets beat up. Doesn't he work for a newspaper? Can he at least work for the friggin school paper? The yearbook does not lead to journalism.
Parker is a Nerd. In many mediums he does get hit on, after his powers. Why? Because he has confidence and charm. He doesnt get Bullied. Flash respects him at the end of the film for standing up and humiliating him. How do you know Gwens looking for a rebel? Seem you like the stereotypical dumb pretty girl who likes the thick Jocks. Are you that spastic that you cant handle a woman with good looks AND good brains?
Again, Highschool doesnt have newspapers anymore. Most of them have a website. he takes pictures for the school events IE debate club, which is why at the start of the film the girl asks him to do her a favour and take some cool pictures of her boyfriends car to frame. Do you get that? You got a net so you can catch it should your illeducated and unintelligent mind to comprehend?

Photojournalism is the use of images you have taken to tell a story and to articulate your words. Peter Parker does not write any form of articles for Daily Bugle. He is a freelance photographer, he CHOOSES where he works. The bugle has the best opportunity. He has no contract or commitment to the Bugle. He is a guy who takes pictures for Bugle to use on the front cover and articles. Clear difference.
How convenient that his name was on the back of the camera. How lazy are these writers? What nonsense.
Erm, not convenient. Pretty sure you remember that in High School Peter gets bullied. Pretty sure if you watched the film, youd remember the other teens kicking his camera after Flash beats him up for not taking a picture. Do you remember that? Yeah, bullies. So if they steal his camera, its easily identifiable to the owner. Again, do you have a net so you can catch that or do you want your films to spell everything out for your very limited and unintelligent mind?
I cannot get over the praise you supposedly comic-lovers have put on this film. You are probably the same people who love Superman Returns. I hope everyone involved in this film has the same luck as the crew who made Poltergeist or the cast of Different Strokes. What a load of crap!

Nova, how did you like the 3D? I'm thinking I MIGHT give it a chance the second time around.

It was my first time seeing anything in 3D.
It was difficult to get used to things being a bit darker due to the glasses tint for about 30mins
I thought it was great though, some moments really popped out at you, i'd recommend it.
I was going to make time to go to the movies again to see it a second time. The annoying thing is i feel i have to see TDKR just to avoid the film not being spoiled across the whole DC section and spilling elsewhere, i was planning on waiting until the Blu, so now i'm not sure which to see
