I feel for the people who are trying to make a living in the industry. It's become totally acceptable to steal music and movies from the artists who create it with no moral grey area whatsoever, just because the technology exists to do so. I don't care about the millionaires so much, but there are a lot of mid and low level singers and writers who are trying to make it in a tough industry and those royalty checks and legitimate album sales can pay the bills. I have some friends whose livelihood depends upon their art/music/acting/writing, and that has definitely shaped my opinions about online piracy.

Can I ask you then, at what point do you think that anything that happened to get that rip into your hands was actually legal?

I wonder how many crimes have been committed just so that you could down load it. Do you really think that the DVD master that has been ripped, got into that one's hands (the one doing the actual rip) without subterfuge and lies?

Is that the way you justify this act of theft, by telling yourself that you will buy the copy when it comes out? How many other greedy and impatient people have stolen and then used that stupid BS excuse to justify their dishonest actions? I want this movie every bit as much as you but I will not commit a crime to get it.

Advice? Don't come onto a public forum and then stupidly and (strangely) proudly boast about stealing films.
