You also liked TDKR better than Avengers but have Hulk as your username. Only shows you're confused. :lecture:lecture:lecture

If i could, I would change my username. Its a long story as to why i picked it. And as a matter of fact, i liked avengers better than TDKR and i hate Jingle All the Way :nana:

I think if you PM Dave you can change your username. Others have changed theirs.

Ok, finally got to watch this again, last night...after silly domestic rubbish getting in the way! I still like it a lot. I will give it three or four more goes over this month and the new year.

I like it as much as I like SM-I...which sort of fits really.

I do not quite like it as much (but close) as SM-II - Let's see what ASM-II does.

I really do like it head and shoulders more than SM-III...which is a shame, as SM-III should have been the best of the originals.

I preferred AG's Spidey (tall and wiry musculature) to TM's Spidey (broader, stockier musculature) every day of the week and twice on Sundays. I cannot stand Maguire's acting anyway and NEVER thought he was right for the character. If he does anything other than look blank, he looks goofy. And for Pete's sake, don't ask him to cry...he looks like he's trying to pass a kidney stone!

I preferred GS to MJ and how their stories develop.

I prefer the way SM swings in ASM, but then the tech has improved in the intervening years.

I like the suit, but prefer Raimi's more classic take on it...because that's how I remember him.

I liked the idea of the Lizard, more than the execution of the idea of the Lizard.

I am confused about all this 'Jamie Foxx will be Electro in ASM-II' talk when it is Michael Masse that appears and disappears in a flash of lightning, during the end credit run...:dunno

All in all 7/10

I just hope they don't feel the need to tie every villain to Richard Parker somehow. I don't know what Electro's film origin will be, but I suspect they will tie it to Oscorp somehow. At Oscorp all roads lead to Pete's dad.

Agreed that the Lizard sounds better on paper that on screen. Perhaps Doc Occ worked so well because Alfred Molina didn't have to convey a performance through makeup or CG capture.

I can't imagine them using the green with lightning Electro suit, especially the mask/helmet with the lightning bolts. So why even bother calling him Electro?

The new Spidey suit was OK on screen but I kept wondering why the silver bits on the feet? Goofy. Spidey's trademark wisecracks finally show up, this was good.

I'd like to see J.K. Simmons as JJJ again. I can't imagine anyone else doing Jameson better. They used Judy Densh in both the Brosnan and Craig Bond series even though they don't share continuity.

Spiderman 2 is still the best of them all.

Yes he was excellent! Like the role was just waiting for him to come along. "Meat! I'll send you some Christmas Meat....But I never said anything about a job!!" He was brilliant.

Yep, inspired casting and it goes beyond how he looks. Imo he captures the comic and cartoon JJJ perfectly. I always thought he was a big asset in the original series.

I didn't like Densh in the Pierce Brosnan films, loved her in the Craig films. They wrote her part sooo much better.
I'm going to miss her in future films.
They could take J.K. Simmons into new territory as well. JJJ was a baffoon in the Raimi films, we haven't seen the villainous side of the character yet.

Liked this a lot more on second viewing and the 3D was great. Weird editing in places tho. The train scene was weird.
