What a ridiculous exercise this was, changing a perfectly solid and elegant design for the sole purpose of rebranding a new Spidey. Difficult to see how they'll work this costume change into the storyline or even if they'll bother. I'm sure Garfield will be a big improvement on Maguire, but the suit is three steps back. Like Maulfan said, it's Spidey-does-motocross. Materials aside, the two things that bother me about this outfit stylistically are the geometric flourishes on the gloved sections and the way the centre band ends at the groin like a paint drip.
Oh well, horses for courses as plenty of people will love it.

I did really like his take on X-Men though, minus Wolverine

(the suit is supposed to be something a teen would make, i think the suit will evolve, don't look quite finished to me)
