It's the only case I looked at so I'm not sure how it compares to others but I think it's fine. I just got it because I liked the way it looked, it was cheap, and I could get it quick. As more cases make their way to retailers I may switch after being able to actually see what the others have to offer.

I've read that the hybrid metallic can be tight fitting and can effect call reception. Have hug experienced that at all. (Last question) :wink1:

Not that I can tell, but I usually get exceptionally good reception in my area. It seems to be working fine for me. I initially got it as a less expensive, temporary case until I could get some other ones in-hand, but I like it well enough now that if those other cases don't impress me then I'll have no problem using it as my case.

No problem! Now that more cases are available I'd check out what you can in-person before buying. I just can't believe how expensive some of the cases are now. I'm not spending $50 on a case.

Zoogue cases. Cheap, very well made (for the price), nice material, thin, mild protection, slide nicely in and out of pocket, ridges on the side for a decent grip. I highly recommend

This might just be the very first time i'm not planning on upgrading my iPad, for the first time ever.

I've been doing that ever since the first IPad was introduced. Sell the old one, upgrade to the new one.

Just not enough reason this time around. Absolutely zero innovation. And the orientation lock gone?

Seriously, I love you. But **** you apple. No software replacement is going to replace that.

I've upgraded my iPad almost every time--I think I missed the one before the Air. I haven't decided if I'll get a new one yet or not. There really isn't enough of an improvement to make me need an upgrade, but I'm sure when it comes out I'll still want one. If I decide to get one it'll probably only be so I can give my wife my Air.

It's time for Apple to give its iPad a new and unique os. The hardware refresh was pretty much par for the course.

The iPad makes a great kids computer and can be used in very limited ways as a replacement for a computer for some other people. We have two in the house and I don't use either of them. One is used by my 5yo daughter and the other one by my wife, which is infuriated with its limited use constantly - no uploading files (which is necessary to apply for jobs), total pain in the ass for any kind of content creation like working on a spreadsheet or page layout. It's OK for email and web browsing and it's definitely very thin, light and portable. I'd rather use my phone and a proper notebook though and that's not going to change even with an iOS update to allow split-screen multitasking. An Android or Windows tablet would be an even worse situation for the most part, so this isn't a knock on Apple specifically.

Yeah I have been waiting for Apple to turn the iPad into something more but why fix something that is still selling and making money. Clearly lots of customers are happy with a consumption focused device. I've been thinking about getting the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. The iPad is a much better tablet but it should be able to do most of the basic stuff. But then in desktop mode I could actually get some work done.

I have a 1st gen iPad that is primarily a Fios remote and a YouTube player. Most of the time it's dead and sitting on the coffee table lol

The 1st Gen iPad is SOOOO useless now. Wish I had known about that Target promo last year when they were giving $200 credit for it.

I paid $200 or maybe 250 for a 32GB first gen iPad when the iPad 2 came out. Can't complain, my daughter uses it every day.

No-

I only have one CC and one Debit Card (both credit unions) and its a no go.

Only big banks (will never deal with those) for now it seems.

I just had my first successful Apple Pay transaction at Walgreens. Quick and smooth.
