Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

IMO that's the only way to go! Just waiting on my local AMC to put up tickets for Friday.:impatient: :dunno

I've actually been shocked at how well behaved the crowds are in Cinema Suites. Once the movie rolls everyone amazingly shuts TFU.

Probably just jinxed us. :lol

Yeah, its really not bad at all. Its pretty much the same price as a 3D ticket but really even more worth it.

Right the crowds are really good but I expect that when its people 21+.

Good news for Ruffalo Hulk fans.

The Avengers star Mark Ruffalo has landed a six-film deal to reprise his role as The Hulk following the huge international box office success of the new superhero movie.

The blockbuster, which also features Robert Downey, Jr., Samuel L Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson, has already grossed US$180 million worldwide and it will be released in the US on Friday.

The bumper figures have prompted Marvel movie bosses to sign Ruffalo up for a series of sequels and other projects, which is likely to include a new solo outing as the green monster - and the actor admits signing on the dotted line was an easy decision to make.

He tells Collider.com, "I was so impressed and blown away by how much (director Joss Whedon) packs into this movie and how exciting it is and what a great ride it is, and how it just works on every level."

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

F Edward Norton in the A...he's a great actor, dont get me wrong, but rumor has it hes's VERY difficult to work with...

I heard that too....plus he wanted creative/writing create on it as well.

I personally liked Ruffalo a WHOLE lot more then Norton. Maybe it was the way Whedon wrote for Banner/Hulk, but I enjoyed him more in Avengers than TIH.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Without giving away any spoilers, does this effectively reboot the 2008 Incredible Hulk film? Obviously the actor is different, along with the rendering, but are there any nods or references to the events of the solo film?
