No I know the bad guys were called Chitauri. I know the Skrulls weren't in the movie itself. But I did see Skrulls in the theatre. Maybe it was just my theatre. Like in Wolverine. Some saw Deadpool wake up and some saw Logan at a bar drinking to remember. I saw Skrulls.

after the final credits they showed a cut scene where the Skrulls said they had to move up their schedule or something like that. Dunno if they had that in all theatres.

Fox owns the Skrull name ATM and would sue the ____ out of Disney if there was even a mention of them. As seen below and already reported, what you saw was Thanos, not Skrulls:

Never. It is perpetual. As long as Fox wants it they can have it. I did notice the Chitauri did have the frilled chin similar to the Skrulls which made me smile a bit.

Originally the Chitauri were the Ultimates version of the Skrulls until they decided to create Ultimate Skrulls too, the funny thing is that in the Marvel books the Chitauri and Skrulls hate one another and hate that they are confused for one another because they look similar.

That was Marvel Studios' in for making the Chitauri resemble the Skrulls, it was already accepted in the books.

That was Marvel Studios' in for making the Chitauri resemble the Skrulls, it was already accepted in the books.

I haven't read the Ultimates since the first run years ago. That's a decent work around for Marvel though, establish cannon in the comics to avoid disturbing any licence agreements.

That's about the only thing that makes sense to me about it, and no one else seems to have an answer either.

I think that is the answer. I could have watched another hour of Hulk smashing the rest of them until they were all dead though.
