So...based on what I am reading from the "Cap over Iron Man" crowd...Cap wins out when it comes to Hallmark moments, but Iron man is way-cooler badass.

I'm good with that as i don't watch superhero movies for heartwarming ambience. I watch them for some badass make-believe smacking down flavored with some smart-assed banter happenin'.

I've lost some respect for Pfister after hearing him insult the work of one of his peers. Seamus McGarvey (Avengers DP) is a well respected cinematographer who was nominated for an Oscar for Atonement, and I still remember that long tracking shot at the beach in that film.

Damn, is that real? WHY DIDN'T YOU POST IT VOID?

I was just talking about this sort of "attitude" in the Skyfall thread.

"Appalling"? Alrighty then. He's entitled to his opinion, that's cool, but it sounds like he's trashing on it in a mean way. I want to see what he comes up with as a director for his directorial debut.

@Pfister being somewhat right about the weird angles and shots in the Avengers.

I liked the shots, gave it a more "shiny" approach as Nam mentions. But they are somewhat awkward especially when you watch it on Blu. To each their own though. :dunno
