What exactly looks like a real Batmobile?

Something that doesn?t look like a regular car. Something that you can?t buy. Something that includes bat imagery. Usually has fins. Fender flares. Long, armored, squared, intimidating, mean looking. Curvy, sleek, sexy, fast, the bubble ?cockpit? of sorts.

That's just from the 60's on though. The Batmobile didn't look like a "Batmobile until the 40's. Originally Batman drove a normal car pretty much. So taking into account this is supposed to be year 2, Batman would not have a traditional Batmobile yet - on top of the fact that this is supposed to be noir story, where the actors were reading golden age comics for reference. Ultimately this Batmobile fits a story of Batman becoming Batman (and focusing on being a detective and not so reliant on tech.)

We'll see though, if the story sucks then it'll make all of these decisions look worse, but if the story is good then it should all work. I personally like the way this gen 1 (maybe gen 2) Batmobile looks, when considering where in Batman's career we are supposed to be at in this movie.

I still think it looks weird to have a finished batsuit with that car. If they want to say it's just some tweaks he made to an old Challenger for his first or second year of fighting crime then I think that his suit should be less refined (and definitely capeless) as well.

Fair enough, everyone has their own tastes. I would counter that maybe developing a Batsuit would take precedence over developing a Batmobile, but then again maybe he would have the ability to develop both at the same time - though again I would want to make sure that my suit was on pint first as Batman doesn't spend that much time in the Batmobile technically.

I agree... but I think this car fits in with all those... more than say The Tumbler.

I don't mind the filmmakers taking things back a notch and creating a sense of reality within a more stylized movie. This car seems to fit that for me -- its sleek and sexy but still has a real home-made feel to me. Its a wannabe Tony Stark car.

Anyway, the whole premise of Batman is so dated to me and somewhat silly that I am far more forgiving than the usual fan. For me, Batman exists only to show me great villains -- hopefully.

Batman works best for me as Magical Realism, which would explain my attachment to Returns. I enjoyed Nolan?s Batman but it hasn?t stayed with me at all.

So a lot of these looks? execution will hinge on the film itself, naturally ? but so far I haven?t seen anything I want on the shelf.

I would love to be wrong.

I love muscle cars.

Blades car is my favorite muscle car.

More than likely I will also buy this car.

But no way in hell does that costume match the vehicle.

I heard the new game is a soft reboot and will be announced soon. That could also be said every month for the last 5 years.

I don't see the point of doing a soft reboot through the same company. Unless of course it's that Damian game reworked of sorts. We'll see, anyhow.
