Ah, I was looking at store-rooms on eBay. I have bought from them there in the past but had no idea they had a stand-alone website. Just ordered the bass – [sigh of relief], now I have all the instruments.

I'll review mine for you when it comes in. It looks to be the same Kit as I've seen on many other listings so how bad can it be, really considering it's the only one around? Anyway, the Seller has received 100% Feedback so that convinced me as others have received theirs already.

Congrats, Star Puffs. Glad to have helped out. And they come with stands and a case. I also like the free shipping from their site. I now have all instruments too. :D

Okay, P. Sold me on the bass. I already have those same boots on the way! (Great minds...)

Great minds, but we already knew that, Gruff. :lol Are you gonna detail yours (white borderline) around the edges?

So thanks to pjam spurring me on :whip, I now have on order...
George's guitar
John's guitar
Paul's bass
Ringo's drums
3 pairs of Lando Calrissian boots
4 TT slim bodies (I mean the Beatles were very cute, but not big guys).

I will likely be designing/sewing the outfits myself unless something prefab comes along and of course Spenser will deliver the heads.

Getting $$$, but probably still less expensive than a licensed set (which will never happen while Paul and Ringo are alive) would be (@ $125+ a piece).

Now back to real life, responsibilities and all that...

Rats - the bass at storerooms is already sold out! :( Any other sources? I was able to pick up the guitars listed by Star Puffs, and
I already ordered the drum kit.

I noticed that too. There were at least 5 available this morning and have been for months. I guess our group made a run on them. I got mine right under the wire. I would email them and ask when they will be back in stock.

You can also search ebay 1/6 Guitar... or maybe Miniature Beatles Guitar and see if any are available. Make sure they are 1/6 Scale or 7.5 inches.

Also, I asked the Drum Kit seller asselerate about his Guitars because they're very nice and showed him a pic of the store-rooms 1/6 Lennon Guitar. Here was his response:

i saw in picture that Rickenbacker 325 with standard version, i have same product but without stand with high 20 cm (8 inch). Guitar you looks at our ebay store that is Exclusive version with high 25 cm(10 inch). i hope this information can help you. Thank you

- asellerate

You may want to ask him to show a pic of his McCartney Bass alongside a tape measure, because it would prolly work okay. Just a suggestion but I would be very careful about buying any Guitars which are not specifically described as 1/6 scale.

Just stumbled onto this thread and it's such a pleasure to see projects like this coming together with all the pieces falling so nicely into place!

Those 1:6 guitars by Art Studio 35 are really amazing! Gives me lots of ideas for other musicians that would be great to have in 1:6. I'd love to put together a Jimi Hendrix figure one of these days, even have a white Fender Strat for him, but coming up with a costume for him could turn out to be major project in itself! :google Anyways...

Back on topic, I'd be interested in some later version sculpts of the FF. I'm more of a fan of the SPLHCB & MMT era than the early days, but I'll be watching with much interest as this project continues to rock on! :D

Welcome Mudshark.:D

Yeah, Spenser will be doing 69 heads after these. Quite a few Freaks want those too.

Let's see, 69 would be "Abbey Road"/"Let it Be" era. Much longer hair (Rooftop Hair) so it will be a bit of a challenge, hair sculpt-wise and Outfit-wise.

Yeah, I bought a red and white Fender-looking guitar from store-rooms too, with the ambition of doing a Liz Phair figure. Kind of an obscure choice I know but when I was a teenager (before motherhood mellowed her beyond recognition) she was the epitome of rock 'n' roll female cool for me.

Some other musicians I would love to see:
Bono (either angry young-man War-era or as The Fly)
Patti Smith
Joan Baez and Bob Dylan (as a set)

Any good 1:6 standing microphones?

I'll check around on mic stands, only one I know of is the HT MJ Billie Jean... and that would be impossible to find parted out.

That MJ Billie Jean one's too modern for a 60s setup anyway. Have to look at some old photos for reference, but I'm pretty sure the stands are upright and one piece. Telescoping, but not tilting, if that makes sense. Mattel has released a number of singers with microphone stands. Elvis, Frank Sinatra, etc.

Speaking of Barbie, there are some Barbie Mic w Stands around too. I might pick up a couple of those, they seem almost passable. :lol

Well, grabbed the drums and George and John's guitars. Now I just need Paul's bass to complete my instrument set. I hope that one from a little earlier in the thread comes back in stock. Man, I can't believe this is really happening. Beatles figures at last.

I've been dreaming about this set for a long, long, time. :D

Re Paul's Bass: I would contact store-rooms and ask if they'll get these back in stock. If the answer is no, best bet is pick up an 8" Bass from asslerrate or other source and maybe mod the neck or something. Just a suggestion.

Well I may not have managed to snag Paul's bass after all.

Store-rooms sent me an email about twelve hours ago saying that Paul's base was out-of-stock and asking me is I wanted another color?!?

Now this is 48-hours after I received notice that said order, which consisted of Paul's bass alone, had shipped.

I am just floored at the moment and hoping store-rooms has made a mistake with the e-mail. :(

I don't get that, they had at least 5 available that morning. Maybe they never updated their inventory?

I got that same email that my 3 Guitars shipped.

Thanks for purchasing in www.store-rooms.com. Your ordered item(s) have been packed and shipped already. Hope you can enjoy this transaction and come back again.

I think I may have got boned too then, even though I had these in my cart for quite a while. Now I'm dreading my out of stock email too. *Covers ears*

Seriously gang, maybe a good idea to email assellerate and see if he has a 20cm available and have him show us a pic because his 25cm (10 inch) is far better than store-rooms.

Here's a pic of the 10", it's awesome...

If he has a 20cm (8") available Maybe we can mod the neck and get away with it.

Perhaps we could try to work with asellerate to explain the need for a proper 1:6 scale (15-16 cm) Beatles guitars and try to arrange a special order. There is obviously an artist out there with a) superb skill and b) an appreciation of the Beatles (based on the 6 or so different Beatles guitars offered, not to mention many other artists). We just need to connect with them and make them feel it is worth the extra work in terms of profit.

bbicn just told me that my Geroge and John guitars shipped today. They waited several days so I am guess they really are in the post. In any case though, the asellerate guitars are stunningly good and I would be willing to buy George and John's guitars again to have a coherent set.
