I hear you jye. Whenever EFNY is on TV I find it fun to watch it for a few minutes to be transported back to 1981 but I don't find it a particularly entertaining film and it rarely survives lasting past the first commercial break. Kurt Russell is hella cool as Snake but the idea of EFNY is always cooler than actually watching it IMO.

EFNY was on AMC this morning. Caught the last 10 minutes. I still like it a lot. I didn't mind EFLA except for a few things, like the surfing scenes, but it's no where near as good as the first one.

The Digital Bits - Home says to expect BOTFA blu-ray in mid to late March, then BOTFA EE and Hobbit Trilogy EE Box Set next fall with a super 6-movie box set in 2016:

Now then… we have a bit of Hobbit news. Our industry sources are telling us to expect the Blu-ray 3D Combo, Blu-ray Combo and DVD release of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies in mid to late-March. So maybe 3/17 or 3/24. We’ll let you know when we have official confirmation of that. Either way, expect a Blu-ray and DVD release of The Hobbit: The Motion Picture Trilogy to hit stores around that same time. Then in time for the holidays you’ll get The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies – Extended Edition and The Hobbit: The Motion Picture Trilogy – Extended Edition on Blu-ray. And if I had to guess, the rumored but we know for sure it’s happening super-ultimate Middle Earth box set of all the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit films will probably arrive on Blu-ray in 2016.

Hobbit: Five Armies, plus Song of the Sea, Big Hero 6, John Wick & LOTS more announcement news
