What was exactly wrong with them? I'm wanting to get the set.

There's nothing really wrong with them, but there are some missing sequences. The opening of "Hi Diddle Riddle," for example. There should be some narration about the "Gotham World's Fair" overlaying the intro, but, on the discs that you receive when you buy the set, it's just the music. There was a scene missing from the end of the Marsha Queen of Diamonds Episode, and a lot of the episodes were also missing the villain tags (e.g. "Next week: The Joker!" with a shot of Romero, or someone else). Basically, the replacement discs are for Disc 1 of Season 1 (the Hi Diddle Riddle narration is fixed), and Disc 2 of Season 2 (The Marsha Queen of Diamonds Scene is restored). They included the villain tags and a bonus Batmobile promo in the special features, since they couldn't replace every disc that was missing them.

It's a really simple process, though. They don't charge you anything and you should get the discs 2 or 3 days after you get a shipping email. You have to fill out this form, but it's pretty basic stuff:
Media Replacement Program

If you get the limited edition (the red set with the Batmobile, you'll need to give them your edition number (it's on the bottom of the box on the right side), and keep the cardboard slip back, as you'll need the UPC code, as well.

Though, since they're all the same, here that is:

But since I don't know when you're getting it, this post could be lost by then, so, just to be safe, keep the cardback.:lol

It's not ideal, but these are minor oversights. I don't think it was intentional, so, the fact that they're even addressing it at all, at no additional cost to the buyer, is acceptable to me. I've gone through the replacement process and it was extremely simple to do. No returns or anything like that. They just send you a couple of discs in an envelope in the mail.

Hobbit trilogy 3-pack has a bit of an "Alien 3" vibe going on there. :lol

So either set you get, single seasons or full, you have this problem?

Also, I just read on the Blu-Ray forums that the sets are apparently Amazon's deal of the day tomorrow, so, if you're on the lookout for a good price, that might be your best bet.
