I'm trying to get a hold of the best versions of my favorite films on blu-ray but I'm a little confused with the lingo. Does "remastered" mean anything other than VC-1 codec? If so, should I wait on a remastered version or would VC-1's suffice? Need some guidance with my list:
NVR: No Remastered Version/VC-1
RVA: Remastered Version Available/MPEG-4
RIM: Released in MPEG-4

Oh no doubt I will still buy but it would've been nice for WB to at the very least finished off the extra 30 minutes in 3D.
Even if the extra 30 minutes were not 3D worthy if the extended is the version I prefer it would've been nice to have it in 3D.
What this tells me is that WB lost money on this movie or barely broke even because had they made money they would've actually converted the extra 30 minutes into 3D.

Yeah, I dont think they are willing to spend one extra Cent on this movie, I think they are pretty bitter it didn't make it past the billion mark.
Now if people lose their mind over the extended edition, in a positive way, then it may get that treatment as a means to make a little more profit.
