you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view. 3D was a good tech. When I first got into 3D, Wor-Gar was already a great collector of 2D movies. But I was amazed how strongly the urge to branch out into 3D he was. I took it upon myself to train him on which 3D format was best. I thought that I could instruct him just as well as CNET. I was wrong.

If they couldn't get customers to wear 3D glasses that weighed only ounces I doubt that customers will embrace a large head piece with multiple wires that have to run across their living room floor.

3D is dead because customers hated wearing glasses.

I kid I kid, I guess it's because I already wear glasses that adding one more never phased me.

I think they actually sell clip on 3D lenses for dorks like me.

But yeah unfortunately I don't think they'll ever get glasses free 3D to look good enough for public consumption.

For now it will have to remain just for the projectors (meh).

You guys want to laugh, the industry is desperately trying to come up with wireless VR and they somewhat succeeded on the PC front but just look at the hot battery you have to place ONTOP OF YOUR HEAD LOLZ!



Just the wireless dongle addition is $300 but hey look mom no wires!

I'll be honest with you it's a good time while looking like an ahole.

But it just didn't feel right having that on while my family was home or even while home alone isolating yourself like that.

I like to have situational awareness at all times even when i'm sleeping I have alarms on and a 12g nearby.

Why don't you just join the military and do it for real?
