So is 4k worth buying a new tv and a player? I feel like I am wasting $$$ buying more and more BD now
 
How big a TV must you need to discern the difference between 4K and 8K!? I can see the difference between 1080P and 4K on my 55", but it's not a startling difference.
 
So unless 8K employs glasses-free 3D, I don't see me indulging anytime soon. That is unless I hit Powerball and have money to burn.

8K is so sharp it looks 3D.

8K won't be available to regular consumers until 2020.

A handful of elites though have purchased 110"-120" 8K sets for $200,000.

What I want to know is if they were given special 8K movies, it's possible.
