Can a 4K tv also be 3D. Meaning can I watch 3D blu Rays on a 4K tv?

Mine is 4K, I don't know if it has anything to do with the set being 4K, but I swear it looks clearer than 1080P sets that are 3D. Perhaps because it's 4K it doesn't have to compromise the image to show it in 3D? Idk, maybe it's just my imagination.

Not your imagination 4K tv's absolutely improve the 3D image if using passive 3D.

The extra pixels eliminates the problem that passive suffers from which is the polarized lenses cutting the vertical resolution down to 540p for each eye on a 1080p set.

The 4K sets show the entire 1080p resolution to each eye.

So no you're not crazy rush lol.

Still waiting to get my 4K projector at an affordable (for me) price.

8k ... 2021 or 2022 for me.

I have a Pixel Shift JVC RS400 and it's good enough for me. The HDR and WCG is more important to me than the actual resolution. You couldn't tell it wasn't real 4K on my 120" scope screen.

Ahhh so it's one of the ones the elites consider a Faux-K ?

I think I was looking at one, might have been the Epson.

I also have a 120" screen, so I want to make the right choice.

Yes it's a FauxK like they say, but I am more than pleased. The Epson is apparently just as good as the JVC I've heard. The only issue with projectors right now is some people think the HDR isn't there yet. Personally I don't see much of an issue and I love the PQ. I'll take a filmic PQ on a projector anytime over a more digital look of a TV.

Fits with the theme of the film.

I don't love it, but I don't hate it, either. Looks "Pop Art"-ish to me.

My copy of Dark Knight has been lost or stolen. (I think someone borrowed it and never gave it back.) Went to watch it yesterday in honor of it turning 9 years old but couldn't find it. :(

Anyone know if there's any cool steelbooks for it anywhere? Figured if I'm gonna buy it again I might as well get a cool one. :lol

My thoughts as well.

I was swinging towards the Optoma UHD65 but still need the money and to be swayed.

One is a 2-disc edition and the other one only 1 disc. The 1 disc also lists Italian as the first language and seems to be an import. If I were you I'd wait a few months as they're remastering all 3 movies, unless you don't care about that.

No 4k TV or player so I'm just looking for the best blu option that comes with all the special features.

Normal Blu-Rays are coming out but remastered. No need for a 4k tv or player for that. It will automatically have better picture since these are old masters with bad PQ. Also defaults to DD 5.1. I believe they also said a few new extras, but I'm not 100% on that one.
