Rule of thumb the cost of your sound should approximate the cost of your tv set up. In my case my my tv was 5k my sound setup cost about 4500 (receiver plus all the speakers). Dont cheap out too much on sound it makes a huge difference to your experience a 75 inch commands good sound or else the tv will outbalance the sound so to speak. If your tv was smaller sure the smaller sound bars would work
I totally agree, but I just don't have the cash right now for that expensive of a sound system. Also, we're planning to move in a year or so (maybe less) so my configuration may change. I thought I'd buy a lower end soundbar for now that still accomplishes some good sound for the time being until we move into our permanent home. Hell, right now I still have my old 2014 Sony hexagon soundbar CT-260 so I imagine anything from 2019-2020 will be a vast imrpovement.
