Optimum Home Entertainment have announced the UK Blu-ray Disc release of The Guillermo Del Toro Collection on 25th October 2010. Mexican director Guillermo Del Toro weaves together black fairy tales with bleak reality in the three films included in this collection. The Devil’s Backbone, Pan’s Labyrinth and his debut feature Cronos are featured here with new picture masters supervised and approved by Guillermo himself.

Cronos
The earliest of the movies in the box set is the acclaimed Cronos. Released in 1993, it's an inventive and compassionate reworking of vampire mythology, a story of family loyalties as well as alchemy and vampirism.

I might have to import it because it was approved by him, man is a genius.
 
Yeah, it's almost $30 a disc, but what you're really paying for is that lovely packaging.

Yeah, i doubt the box is that amazing. I can wait for the seperate release of Devil's Backbone or when it goes on sale.

Keep the fancy packaging and give me Devil's Backbone on Blu-ray. :monkey3

I just checked Amazon and imo, that Del Toro set is overpriced considering you only get 3 movies.

But 3 amazing movies!!!
I'd gladly pay this prices for great movies... unlike movies like Prince of Persia or Year One!! :lol!
