I don't want to take away your hope, but I do want to understand it.

Even if Fett starts being a ruthless badass in the remaining episodes, how would his incompetence and nice guy personality up to this point be erased or make any sense at all? Are you hoping they'll just say he's bipolar or something?

Only thing that saves this show is

1. Boba decides all these recent choices he has mad are poor ones and goes back to his old ways

2. It turns out this is not Boba Fett at all and somehow another clone

3. After Fett goes into the pit to be digested he has dreams. Dreams what amount to the PT.. none of it happened the way we thought… All Of the events of the PT was just a bad dream and The real Fett will wake up and escape from being diner in a much more dramatic way. We then get a PT remake.

Well....she's part robot and for all we know his **** melted off in the Sarlacc. (Notice he no longer wears the Beskar codpiece.)

It was doomed to platonic from the start.

(But for real though, I imagine moments after the throne scene from Mando S2, after she takes a few swigs of windex, they immediately made some sweet and dirty love right there on Jabba's throne as Fortuna's lifeless body was just staring at them. When I get my figures, I'm gonna make them do that, anyway.)

It shocks me to see how many people in the comments section of that video are raving about how amazing this show is. I’m not sure if it’s denial or just low standards.
The video is somewhat encouraging, but even if the next few episodes are awesome, the show still has the Sword of Damocles hanging over it with RR directing the finale.
We‘ll see what happens, but I confidently expect the glorious stupidity to continue right through to the seasons end credits.
