I happy for people who like things even though I don’t, so I don't understand why the same folks feel the need to write off counter opinions like that.
Also, and I the only person who’s really bothered that we’re three episodes in, and we still have no idea what Boba’s motivation for taking over Jabba/Bib’s operation is?
It made for a cool stinger for mando season 2, but so far there’s been no explanation whatsoever as to why he’d decide he wanted to be a crime lord. It’s so strange.

Especially given his non violent pacifist and respectful way of dealing with issues and people. He's the nicest crime lord ever.
It's weird, it's like they wrote it for the OT/EU Fett. That Fett would probably fit in as a crime lord as he might see that as a promotion from bounty hunter but they've used some new Disney version of Fett the benevolent for the show.
This version of Fett just doesn't make sense as a crime lord. He ought to be going on adventures with his buddy Din Djarin. Mandobros.

I really wanted to see some bounty hunting, kind of a deeper dive into doing some world building for all of that. Like how a lot of people (myself included) though Mando season 1 was going to be. I have a lot less problems with either of those seasons than I do with BOBF, but I think it would have been a stronger show to have had one or two more episodes of Din on his own hunting some bounties before we got to the Grogu stuff.
I’m genuinely not sure why they decided going this route with Boba Fett was the right take for the character, but maybe we’ll all be surprised and they’ll someone pull this **** show together with the other episodes.

I think in fact, more than ever, that Disney should not have SW at all. Theyre not making a good fist of things, this is for sure. First the ST and now theyre screwing up this, which should be an absolute no-brainer.

If you want to make a show about crime, youre gonna need some.... Crime. You will need some violence. Even some world-weariness, which Mando had quite a bit of.

None of that is in Disneys wheelhouse, sad to say.

Boba's portrayal as a puzzy *** chump yearning for "respect" looks absolutely ridiculous in comparison with Maul's efficiently brutal tactics to rule over Crimson Dawn and other lesser syndicates (the Pykes included) through the demonstration of ultra violence and fear. At this point I really want to see Solo 2 instead of this mess.

I totally agree, except that I really enjoy a lot about The Mandalorian, and I absolutely adore Rogue One. I’m still in disbelief that it’s a Disney Star Wars movie.

Aw, Mando now and forever gets a pass. I am just hoping that was not lightning in a bottle, that we wont ever see that quality replicated in any of these other series because Disney has no real idea how to handle the franchise.

Im just honestly worried about season 3. Everyone was a badass in season 2. Lets not neuter everyone, lets dont tie an apron around Bo-Katan's waist and have her start acting like mom.

That would be an extremely Disney thing for them to do. I could see it happening.

Its like if they do something right, they panic.
