Why does Grogu need all that beskar c-rings?

A Light Beskar armor Chain-mail.
Chainmail?
Mando said it was armor.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/chain mailchain mail noun : flexible armor of interlinked metal rings

Chain mail - Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Chain_mail

Chain mail is a type of armour consisting of small metal rings linked together in a pattern to form a mesh

He's likley going to wear it under his clothes.
Not be an armored up Baby as some hysterically depict :lol

Yeah, I do.

Lol this forum may be full of hard *****:D but thought Julia Jones was excellent. I could see a simple ending like an old Western where Mando and Grogu just land and walk toward the village, only this time Mando is carrying his helmet. Cut scene.

That's after Mando has ridden the Mythosaur, restored Mandalore, shredded his enemies into sad bits of sticky tissue ground into the soil of Mandalore, finally earns Paz Vizla's respect so Paz gets over being jealous of Din D'jarin (or maybe dies saving Mando:crying) and has the important mano a mano standoff with Gideon.

Plus at some point Din, having achieved "emotional balance" has to give the epic speech about - er, balance. That manners maketh the man:monkey3. Not running around in a helmet 24/7. That we all gotta stand together and play nice.

Meanwhile Boba fans sigh with relief and immediately decide that 85% of TBOBF was a lizard dream and didn't count, since Boba kicks *** in the Mando finale, and even drops Mando and Child off in Sorgan since Din D'jarin's latest ship got destroyed.:monkey3

Implication being although we know Mando hands him over to his kind, the positive strong willed, hopeful Luke we all remembered, thus fulfilling his quest.
Disney's future Luke is a failed piece of garbage coward, who gets them all slaughtered.
Favreau (being someone who actually likes Star Wars) could not leave it that.

So this is Farvreau's way of circumventing that implied future, by letting us know ahead how Grogu is prepped to survive it. :wink1:

Unless the Armorer kept the rest for future use and didn't want Din having it. Din should have requested something else be made from it if he knew he wasn't getting it back.
Din had said before to keep some beskar for the foundlings. Even if it's not said, I'd assume he would have the Armorer keep some of it for new foundlings since they are re-establishing a covert.

It could just be a chain for the Mythosaur pendant since Grogu still has that.

Samesies- The Mandalorian (Star Wars Live Action Series)

Been trying my best to keep up with this thread over the past few weeks but it's a challenge at times.

"Return of the Mandalorian" is easily the best episode of this show as everyone seems to agree. I seriously wonder if the episode was filmed for season 3 of Mando and then they realized BOBF was a train wreck, so they had to shoehorn in chrome head boy to come clean up the mess.

The opening 5 minutes was incredibly badass; I love how Mando immediately 1ups Boba in his own show. I want to go back and rewatch that scene but on first watch I was giggling with joy like a little boy, like with the Luke S2 entrance or the RO Vader scene. Episode did drag a bit with Professor E Gadd's shop and talk of furry Jawas though, but the payoff was worth it seeing Mando zip around in his new ship.

But while a great Mando episode, it's a terrible Boba Fett episode in the context of BOBF. Not a big deal with the quality of the rest of the season but makes for terrible pacing in the context of the entire show. At this point I almost wonder if they should have reversed unoed it: Do Mando S3, have 1 stand alone Boba Fett episode that condenses the basic plot of the first 4 episodes into 1, and then bring Mando in at the end and have the second team up within Mando S3. Could have sparred us of the cyberpunk gang too.

It's beautiful. All of it. 😭😍

Yeah I could totally see this originally being the season opener for Mando 3 that was going to originally show a flashback of how he crossed paths with Fennec for the prior BOBF season but was then retrofitted to "save" BOBF. The only thing is that BOBF was announced to be 7 episodes prior to the season starting so it isn't an audible that would have been called in response to fan reactions (unless they already knew they had a train wreck on their hands well in advance...)

Yeah it's threw a spanner in the works. The final episodes will feel disconnected from the flashback episodes. Should just give us S3 now and drop the last 2 Boba episodes in somewhere. :lol

It'll be cool if Mando still ends up with a larger transport type ship that has room to move around in that the N1 Starfighter can dock with/launch out of.

Ever since I saw the Falcon I dreamed of living and travelling on it. You can't do that in a fighter. You can't even stand up if you get cramp!

The Razor Crest had amenities, and a bed, and Mando could walk around.

The Naboo fighter is so limited, and claustrophobic.

Yep he needs to go full Knight Rider with a larger ship that carries around his badass fighter.
