I can't figure out what looks off to me about his new look. I don't dislike it, but just something about it - maybe because the black is so fresh looking. That OG outfit and gear is peak Sci-Fi merc geared for close combat.

That and there's too much negative space. The armour looks like an afterthought or an awkward, incomplete add-on. Maybe it'll look better on the show.

Maybe will get a flashback scene showing what A-hole did that. If he takes another shot to the pods Fennec will have to engineer him a Robo-pecker that sends the Twileks running for cover. Jye will be first in line for the screen accurate prop.

I do think having that missing piece of armor is what is kind of throwing off the new look. Sure, which grey to black, that should be fine, but lose some of the armor and it throws it all off.

That's it exactly to me. With the cod piece, the space would be broken apart much better...

It’s genius really because while the baddies are wasting time shooting at his pecker because they think he is unprotected there it buys him time to take them out.

Alright maybe not just the codpiece But if you look at the ESB or ROTJ costumes, you've got the girth belt and the ammo belt that are not perfectly overlapped and they sit above the codpiece with a slight overlap. With all that, there really isn't much ab area exposed between the armor vest and the girth or ammo belt. The new look has the ammo belt completely overlapping the girth belt and it just produces a ton of space that mucks with my eye a bit too much. It worked better with the baggy pants and skirt in Mando S2 for whatever reason...
