As much as I recognize how good T1 and T2 are I can do without them. Matrix franchise a close second ... not sure where to put the MCU as it's a giant tub of standalone buttered popcorn.

Yes don't get me wrong. I love junk food, but I prefer Steak

T1 is enough for me though I like T2, T3 and even Salvation.



I think the thing is with the MCU is that I can't remember anything really about the films that are a non-action scene.

JAWS, SW, Empire, ALIENS, etc... All quotable with great quiet moments as well as great action. Not so much with the MCU. At least not off the top of my head.

Going back to the MCU for a second nothing and I mean nothing will ever replicate experiencing this moment cold with a packed auditorium ever again.

That was a pretty solid moment. I've watched Endgame 20 times since then and I love that moment every time. It's honestly Thor's elated reaction that really sells it for me. The smiling "I knew it!" just gets you in the feels. These guys are teammates and friends and Thor admires Cap instead of being upset that he is also worthy...
