How prophetic this was. :dunno

That's just amazing... and terribly sad.

Add Fester making that expression and your training will be complete.

I don’t get blaming Morrison. He didn’t write the show. He didn’t write his character. He didn’t write his lines. That’s like blaming Hamill for the ST or Ahmed Best for the PT.

The show can work with Morrison. He did a fine job with what he was handed.
Morrison isn't THE problem, but he's part of it. In the absence of great SW world building and storytelling, a charismatic, interesting central BF performance could have helped. He's fine but he just doesn't have the acting chops to make any difference.

Michael Fassbender in Prometheus is one of many, many examples of charismatic, interesting, even great performances in pretty bad productions.

Khev I need a hug kid tusken kicked my *** lol
Where's the Fett who kicked the ***** of all those Stormtroopers on Tython? Hell where's the Fett that could actually go a couple rounds with Koska?? Even Taxi Service Fett had his act together more than this buffoon.

"Oh no the bad guys have formed a barrier around us that is five feet high, whatever shall we do?? Guards and Fennec, save me!"

Where's KK and RJ when you need them, lol.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions after just one episode. While there are only six episodes, I think the show will find its footing. Yes there were some questionable decisions (Gamorrean designs, parkour assassins, etc.). However, Boba is not Jabba, which is probably what Rodriguez and Favreau are trying to get across. He wouldn't be carried around the city. He's also not a killer for the sake of killing. Keep in mind that from a marketing standpoint, Disney probably feels that Boba has to be sold as an antihero. Making him a sadistic, murderous dictator like Jabba isn't a terribly marketable arc for the character. Sure, at the time I was wondering when he was going to turn on the jetpack, fly up and torch the assassins (although I believe he did disintegrate one) but I'll let the writers tell their story. I can't recall if I read this somewhere, but I believe the plan is to give it sort of a "Godfather" vibe. I think ultimately the series will have him ruling with respect. Right now he's showing the carrot. Eventually he'll have to bring in the stick (which will probably include Tusken Raiders and maybe a creature or two) to balance things out. Beyond that, there has to be somewhere for the series to go, assuming the plan is to have multiple seasons.

Everyone has to remember this show is for the new generation. My BF was the skinny mysterious dude in the OT. This is not the same guy. I’m watching all of these new DISNEY + with a different eye and just going for the ride!! I think I enjoyed the Captive Fett more than when he’s all geared up. I see something new added to the SW lore….sand coconuts!!

They needed a guy who looks the part in the suit, is athletic, and leaves his helmet on and Morrison ain't that guy.
Well Morrison isn’t fat but he isn’t slim either. That’s more the costume department’s fault or the writer’s for making the suit look the way it does on him. They could have made a suit that looked great on him, to get the “guy in the suit” feel and not necessarily the”cosplay guy in the suit” I get from certain angles. As far as leaving his helmet on that’s not his choice either. His face looks the part. Even if he wasn’t Jango in the past I can buy that that is the face of Boba. Same with the voice.

I think the biggest thing is that they didn’t properly build the show around Morrison’s limitations from the costume to the story to the characterization. Morrison’s Boba Fett in Mandalorian worked extremely well for me because they did that to a degree, that was Boba Fett. This so far, just seems off from a lot of aspects.

"Oh no the bad guys have formed a barrier around us that is five feet high, whatever shall we do?? Guards and Fennec, save me!"

Jetpack check. Flamethrower check. Missiles check. Blaster check. Beyond comprehension what Rodriguez was thinking here? Does Morrison exceed the weight limit of the "jetpack cables"?
