Wow, love those trailers (apart from grinding the bike down the handrail). Here's another movie to add to the list this year.

I loved the handrail thing, but then I like Bond movies and those kinds of things are expected.

Hmm, not so much anymore with Daniel Craig. It's not a major turn off but it did stick out in the trailer for me.
I'm not a big Daniel Craig fan, at least for his role of Bond. I haven't watched a single one of his Bond movies from start to finish.
Besides, he looks like a monkey.

Yeah, he's a lovable big ape.
I think with Craig it's just he's so much different than the other Bonds. I just don't see the sex appeal of Bond in him, though hey, what do I know? A lot of women find him hot.
I still like the motorcycle scene.

Early buzz is suggesting that this isn't so good.
Probably just the Matt Damon lovers. They keep thinking Renner is replacing him and he's not.

Well, Ween, most of the reviews I was going to link are on Rotten Tomatoes. There's about 9 of them now. Reception is somewhere in the middle.I've been reading early twitter buzz from people who went to the screenings and it's not overly positive. Not negative either, just middling.

They'll give a good review, then change it when the meter goes down and visa versa. There's a couple of them reviewing Bourne and they were called on it. Did the same thing to Total Recall.
I gave up on the site a long time ago when they gave John Carter such ____ty reviews. Most of the movies I really liked, they panned yet they give really high marks to sub-titled movies and high end dramas that most people don't even see.

I wasn't really looking at the scores, just the text reviews.
So they'll actually change the text and tone of their review as well as the score? If that's the case I'd hope they are called out for it. However, lets consider the likelihood that the majority of reviewers don't change their reviews and think of RT as mostly a place where reviews are collected.
In any case, I will see this film for myself.

Me too. I forget the guy's name, but after I read about one of the reviewers that purposefully writes negative reviews for any major movie just to garner extra hits on his site I stopped giving that site too much crecibility. As long as he's running, jumping, kicking, and punching people in the face I'll be happy.

Yes, even the actors said they'd be up for it, which would be cool. I love the series.
One of those so called critics refered to Renner as a character actor. Ummmmm....no.
I love Rachel Weitz too. She's great, she married a monkey.

Renner is on his way to being the next big thing I think. I thought he was cool in 28 Days Later and loved The Hurt Locker. If those two team up I would be seeing that for sure.
