The first one was pretty fun. Nothing special, but it delivered what was promised.

I just didn't like the first Expendables. It was just blah and had no sense of direction.

It was like The Avengers for 80's action stars, except, none of them were interesting characters.

Frankly, it's nice to see a bunch of the most beloved 80's action icons kicking butt together on the big screen. It's not something you see too often. The story might be simple, but it's fun to watch, like the animal planet, when a lion takes down a gazelle.

I grew up with all these guys in the 80's. And I thought the movie was "ok" at best.

Yeah Expendables wasn't really that good and I'm a fan of most of those actors.

But I saw this Bourne film just a couple of hours ago. I liked it. Really like Jeremy Renner in it. But I didn't think the ending was climactic enough...it seemed like the movie wasn't over. #shrugs

Yes, I think there definately be one. Actually with what was set up, they could go off in several directions

I liked this movie, though I'm not sure if you haven't seen any of the Bourne movies if you'd like it, or maybe even understand it since they're throwing around names, programs, etc. that people may not know.

Some of the directing was a bit bad, at least to me, but I still enjoyed it.

And Jeremy was so FINE of course, except for his Mickey Rourke fingers, but you can't expect perfection. :swoon:

btw......what's with all the Expendables 2 talk? That's soooo next week.

Yeah I saw Expendables a week ago and I thought it was horrible. Not only was the dialogue unbearably bad but you couldn't even tell what was going on in terms of action.

I guess Crews gunning down those guys at the end was pretty cool. Rest of it just felt like a very average B-action movie. I know it had a lot of stars in it, but it sure didn't feel like it did. maybe 2 will be better.

He's not a pretty boy, but anyone who knows me knows I don't like pretty boys. You can have your Brad Pitts and Tom Cruises.

Renner is awesome, indeed! One of my favorite current actors.

And I'm not gay or anything, but I don't see how he's unnattractive. Granted, he's not Johnny Depp. But, I suppose you could still say he's good looking.
