great paint job on anakin. steps look really good as well, love the texture, you definitely nailed it. i too wrestled with the 3 steps vs. 4 steps and went with three as to be able to fit more figures around the throne such as bubo & a hasbro r2 w/serving tray. professional job all the way around.

I finished the raised back portion of Jabba's steps today. It's the start of the platform landing that is behind Jabba's throne.

Unfinished raw wood...


Finished and installed...


Closeups of the left side w/out flash...



With the flash which shows the gap between the throne and platform which I will block off with a small piece of plywood...someday.

once again you took it to another level. people would probably pay a nice price for that set up. i love when a project comes out good, your pride in your work shows thru.

sidenote: i made a set for my jabba out of some left over floor tile and was going to make the back piece just a tad lower than the throne because i would like to make the rotisserie/grill thing and not be too high above jabba.

Thanks! I don't know what I'm gonna do for lighting or if I'll get around to the arch. I'm getting too ambitious and running out of time for all my projects.

I can't remember. I cut them from a girl figure head that I got a long time ago. Maybe Les can remember what figure those hair pieces come from.

Yep! I thought that was it, but the savage should work nicely as well. So let me ask you, now that a AOTC Obi Wan sculpt is available, will you be buying one to complete your Episode 2 Obi Wan?

Only if SS doesn't come out with theirs soon. Since they now have an awesome sculpt I can't imagine they'll wait too long before an AOTC Obi is released.
