Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

outstanding work man!! my only suggestion would be to remove the zipper hook. it's just huge for that jacket.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Thanks dude! :rock

This is THE jacket for Bob. Lacking only in the shoulder straps. I've already blacked out the coller, cuffs and waist band now I need to paint it dark purple. The Joker patch is only temporarily attached with tape right now.
Oh, and I still need to make the playing cards patch for his right arm.

im kookoo for cocos bob!:chew

:lol

Just finished painting Bob's jacket and also if your wondering how cross eyed Coco could get the Joker patch on so crooked, well then, just watch the scene when Bob hops off the float right before he gets shot.;)

You guessed it kiddies, poor Bob's patch was askew on his jacket. Your lookin' at deliberate screen accuracy here baby!!! :D

Now I just need to make that darn playing card patch for his arm.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Nice work man, how did you get the jacket to be that color? It looks awesome:rock

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

I painted it. It changes colors in different light pretty much like the movie version seemed to. Here's a pic without the flash.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Really, just paint? Is it likely to flake off? I mean it looks great, like it was always purple.

No, it's a pretty thin application and acrylic paint is still somewhat flexable after it dries. It's the same as the soft boots that are painted like Han's gloss black boots and Bespin Luke's kinda' weathered look. You can move those all around and the paint stays on just fine.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Thing's have quiet here, Coco. What's up?

I completely gutted our master bath last weekend and I'm in the process of putting it all back together. I've been coming home from work and working on it till about 9pm each night.:monkey4

I got the new subfloor put down, larger window put in, shutter for the new window built and stained, sheetrock hung and taped, plumbing and cornershower installed, new vanity built and the wood work and vanity stained. Whew! That looks like a lot of stuff.:lol

Now all I have left is to texture and paint the walls, lay the faux wood floor, install the base and case and set and plumb the vanity and toilet. I should be done by Tuesday since it's a three day weekend.

After that all will be back to "normal" for a while and Bob will resume.:D:banana

Stinkin' remodels.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Soooo... After taking our bathroom from this:

To this:

Custom built and stained maple vanity closeup(out of scraps from work! :rock):

Custom built and stained maple shutter with frame closeup (also out of defective material from work! :rock):

One of two his and hers maple corner cabinets (You guessed it. Also completely out of scrap.:joy)

Now I'm almost ready to get back into my other, more enjoyable, kind of customizing.:D
Bob's sculpt will be off to Les for casting and then I'll be getting started on these...

One of my favorite versions of Joker. Mime Joker! Also one or two of his mime goons too.
I'll be making some modifications to a Joker head I got from drjedisith and putting together The Mime of Mayhem.

The house work is never done.:lol

I've got your Joker hat ready and waiting. I never did do your Napier hat but maybe I can get that done this weekend.

I'm having problems with my Bob sculpt.:monkey2 Everytime I add little sculpey and bake it to fix the part I broke off (I dropped the dang thing :banghead) it wants to seperate from the sculpt. I'm gonna hunt down some different stuff today that will air dry so I don't have to bake it which I think is the problem.

If you've got any suggestions bring em' on.
