Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Wow. Thanks guys! I'm really enjoying this one. It's the most custom work I've ever done to a figure.
I agree though, the hat does need to be taller. I'll add about 1/16" to it tonight and that should do it. Then I shall truly become "The Hatmaker".:lol

Bob will in fact have real hair Wor-Gar. I've got two different colors of mohair coming from a seller in England that should work well.

Wow, man... that is really great looking. So impressed that you can make hats like these :rock

:rock Thanks dude! Bob's has definitely been a challenge so far. Getting that "pinched" fedora look in the front has been interesting.

I thought about using a Hasbro Indy hat but it just didn't look right so I figured I'd take a crack at it myself.
Hopefully once Bob is all together I'll have a figure that, if not totally screen accurate, at least captures the look of the character well enough.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

The mohair came in so I had to do a quick test run with it. I had to push the hat down to get it to stay and even then I couldn't get it to go all the way down.
I'll need to modify the sculpt to accept the mohair headpiece properly.

No, I quit the yak business years ago.:D I got it off ebay from a seller in the UK. Here's a link: https://search.stores.ebay.com/DOLL...LIESQQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQsaselZ268817923QQsofpZ0

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

New and improved JOKER patches!

Probably not the jacket I'll be using for Bob but you get the idea.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Looks good. That's the jacket I figured you'd use. Looks right to me, but you'd have to see against the film if it's accurate. Patch looks great.

Actually that may not be the jacket I use. I just have the patch laying there. It isn't glued down or anything.

I found a black jacket on ebay that looks like the movie's with the exception of the shoulder flaps and the color of course. I haven't gotten it yet but if it doesn't work out like I think it will then the jacket in the picture will have to do.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

this is just looking better and better :D

Thanks dude! :rock

This is THE jacket for Bob. Lacking only in the shoulder straps. I've already blacked out the coller, cuffs and waist band now I need to paint it dark purple. The Joker patch is only temporarily attached with tape right now.
Oh, and I still need to make the playing cards patch for his right arm.
