Won't read it just because I don't want to know what happens to Scarecrow. I can't believe somebody is complaining it is TOO long. Of those 12 clips released today, most of them were the "boring dialog" parts, and even then I was thrilled to watch them. I can't see myself getting bored with this.

Lousy reviews getting to see it early and saying it is too long

HAHA, no worries mate!

I can't view those 12 clips though. They don't seem to load. Probably high traffic volume to the site :(

Never mind - I'll watch it during the movie instead if I can't watch them clips!

Did you guys see that a lot of IMAX theaters are adding a second showing after the 12:01 show? Mine has one up for 3 AM now:horror!!!

I may make it a Dark Knight marathon!!!

My local theatre is running Dark Knight screenings all night for at least opening weekend. They have 3:00am and 6:00am showings.

Really? That is awesome....I should see if the wife is up to a 3:00 showing...

Wow, all the 12 clips have been removed from IESB!

And I haven't even seen them yet. Only managed to watch part of the first one! Guess I have to wait until the movie is released then.

Oh wow. Well I'm glad I saved my favorite clips before they were pulled.

We can discuss your recalcitrant dislike of the term "hyperbole" over pretentious elixirs in San Diego. :duff

BULLLL^^^^!

Interesting read, though, Irish. Thanks for posting.

Yeah, that's a cop out thing to say. If Jack Nicholson was nominated for the Golden Globe for his Joker, and Johnny Depp can get an Oscar nod for Pirates of the Carribbean, why would it be hard to imagine a nod if his role is that good? I guess we'll see, but a statement like that is lame.

edit: By the way, I think this segment from his article says all you need to know....

I'm sort of keenly aware of my reputation as the anti-Batman guy (and I honestly don't like the character all that much), and I walked into this movie with an open mind, intending to give it a fair shake.

I liked the Movie Blog review's comments on Ledger and why he should at least get a nomination. I think a great performance that deserves nomination and award is one where the character is played so well that every moment of screen tim you're totally engaged by them and eat it up and are pulled deeper in the story by them; Depp's Sparrow did that, and I have a feeling Ledger's Joker will too.

Unfortunately, Heath's death is like a steroid accusation in baseball, it's tainted his success with this movie, even if he deserves it, there's going to be that weird sense of would the voting have gone that way if he hadn't passed tragically.

As soon as I saw that was an article written by Devin Faraci I immediately closed the window as there was no point in reading it. That fat slob has about as much credibility as my ballsac. He's a pathetic hack who has always tried to be cool by going against the grain. He has been bad-mouthing this flick(as well as Batman Begins) for the past couple years and his mind was made up about TDK long ago. His opinion is completely worthless as far as I'm concerned.

The thing that really pisses me off is that a complete knob like that gets to see the movie 3 weeks before the rest of us.

A ****** indeed. One needs only to read his Wall*E review.

Cast interview from one of the premieres in CA. Really interesting -

I have to say, and I'd hate to learn otherwise, but I find Christian Bale to be one of the coolest, classiest guys in hollywood today, he doesn't seem to have ego, he's so committed to his work, it would be really cool to do a movie with him.
