I have to say, and I'd hate to learn otherwise, but I find Christian Bale to be one of the coolest, classiest guys in hollywood today, he doesn't seem to have ego, he's so committed to his work, it would be really cool to do a movie with him.

Agreed, i'd also say that he's got one of the most unique accents too!

That CHUD review did scare me with "Nolan still can't direct an action scene". Because I thought that was the weakest aspect of the first film - the action scenes are very hard to follow. I'd hoped that he'd grown in that area.

The fighting scene in the new clip that was released is much different than anything in BB. Longer shots without the rapid cutting and you can follow exactly how Batman moves and fights multiple opponents.

Yeah I saw that! No idea. Maybe I'll get a little something extra when/if they send us stuff for sending them in. Or maybe it will be featured on a Gotham Tonight, which would be just as cool if not cooler since it would officially make me part of the movie experience :rock

You don't happen to have a 12" batman do you? When I saw your "zombies"/Subjects pics, I was thinking that would make for a great GCN caption with Batman being surrounded, dunno why.

Just bought my tickets for Fri night...I hear its 2 1/2 hrs long...might see it again the same night! 5 hrs... gonna need to bring a snack!

Just because that toolbag says Nolan can't direct an action scene doesn't mean it's actually the case. The action in the trailers looks absolutely fantastic and several early reviews have already said the the action scenes are very good.

Just got this from their site:

I'm hoping they'll have it in the other theatres besides the Dome - I hate that auditorium - horrible acoustics, crappy seats and bad sightlines. But the other Arclights are great.

I'll have to get down there to check out the costumes and the pod - why not the Tumbler?

Here's another review

The Dark Knight Review

8.5 out of 10.

The reviewer mentions, a few things already stated before by others:

a) Heath Ledger "was stunning. STUNNING!" and deserves an OSCAR

b) The movie is 1/2 an hour too long, he feels it could have been a complete story at 2 hours instead of 2 1/2 hours

c) If it was only 2 hours long, he would have "The Dark Knight" as one of his Top 5 movies for the past 3 - 4 years!

Nothing really spoiler-ish except for what happens to The Scarecrow..... And Two-Face is "wicked". That's all he would say.

Check out the video review about the reviewer's opinion on Heath Ledger as The Joker.

Some of the reviewers quotes:

"Heath Ledger playing The Joker is the single best performance I've ever seen by any actor given in any comic book movie or superhero movie ever. EVER! That includes Christopher Reeves as Superman, that includes Jack Nicholson as Joker, that includes Christian Bale as Batman".

"Heath Ledger is stunning"

"Heath Ledger gives a legendary performance" (during the closing)

But then we already knew that didn't we? :D

Overall, another positive review. I can't friggin' wait! We're almost there people!

Indeed! It's like every movie I've seen so far, doesn't live up to this movie, even though I haven't seen it.

I watched Iron Man and while it was enjoyable, I don't think its going to beat The Dark Knight for me. The anticipation building up..... it feels like I'm going to explode. I need to watch this movie NOW! :wacky

I saw the trailer again last night before I saw Wanted. I can't wait for this to come out. It's so unfair that we in the UK have to wait an extra week

You Guys won't believe what is being put up right outside my window!

A full Office building TDK Poster! Featuring the Joker! :rock

That is awesomely sick Paul.

Totally "seriously" sick, Sean! I can see it from my Kitchen, Bedroom and Living Room windows! :rock It's about 80 ft high!

I'll take another pic when it is all up. It will also be lit at night!

They are removing the last panel of the Kobe Ad now. :lol
