"The Dark Knight" 2008 !!!!!!!!!

My grandparents' TV just died out today so they went out and bought a new 50" plasma faltscreen TV and now all of their TV stations and DVDs look a bit blurry. I told them to upgrade to HD programming and get a Blu Ray player. They are planning on doing both. I'm really pushing for the Blue Ray player soon just so I can see Batman Begins in HD right before TDK.

Here's a TDK review from the guys at IGN.com. They do mostly games, and most of us are gamers, so it's interesting to read their take, for all interested:

Speaking of games and TDK, I find it strange that their isn't a tie-in game to coincide with the movie release. That doesn't happen often for superhero flicks.

Oh, and Buttmunch, I'm very jealous of your grandparents. My grandparents are still using those artifacts from the 70's. Ya know, with the knobs and everything.

I'm now at a point where I need to see TDK, not want, but NEED, some stuff going on right now and seeing the struggle of Bruce Wayne and going along with his struggles in this movie will be very therapeutic.

I'm jealous too. I've never seen a home TV so big. My grandma just told my grandpa to get the biggest TV Wal-mart had, and he did!

Like I said, now I'm really pushing for them to get a Blu Ray player!

Also, apparently Dominos has an exclusive new trailer that you can only view after you've ordered a pizza. I would do it, but since my Jaw surgery, I'm still on liquids. Great timing huh?

So if anyone does that, try to load the trailer up to youtube or something. I've heard its got some of that interagation scene!

I don't think so. Many other people that didn't even enter this one, but had participated in previous virals, are getting them. I do hope I get a little extra something for that editor's choice.

And so far, I have not been hungry enough to blender anything but a root beer float

I should, ironically, get my bite guide out on the 8th and hopefully move to "soft" foods by then. I've been able to swallow Top Ramen whole and bits of baked potato and pieces of bread. But I miss chewing!

I read an article yesterday that said it had sold 10 times as many tickets on movietickets.com as Spidey 3 did at this point in time before its release.
