How much was the original release Tumbler? And is this one ANY different?

the dealer is whysoseriousonline. Awesome place to deal with there in devon im in cumbria quite a distance & i can gurantee i have anything i order with me the next morning there that good & prices are very good.

Its just another shop to concider mate when the time comes.

Yeah I think before shipping it was $389 at Toys2. I think I ordered mine as soon as it went up back in the day.

It's like that, and that's the way it is!

With all the re-releases, I mostly pity all those that payed high dollar for the originals on the 2condary market. See it on the bright side: your 2nd chance to buy the figures you passed on, back in the days.


I never bought the Tumbler 'cause back then it was not available though SSC (at the time best option because of the EU warehouse), and, best price I could find here in the EU was €460 (2008 $ rate was about 1.40 I think) before shipping. I didn't want to spend that much on it. Will most likely pass on it this time again. I better save the cash for the '89 Batmobile. More important to me than the Tumbler.


If my calculations are right, this time around, it would cost about $670 with shipping, VAT, Duty and handling fee to EU.

I thought it was $399

I was thinking the retail was $499 and with the 10% you could have got it for $449, however for this collectible it is possible that i am mistaken because this was originally released before i started collecting hot toys...

Hey Hot Toys, just thought you would like to know that the message boards (such as Sideshow Freaks) are very angry at your re-released Batmobile. Many long time buyers are now claiming they will no longer support your line (like myself who has spent over 5k) due to new strategy of re-releasing the same items. The "new" Batmobile was the straw that broke the camels back. The amount of lifetime Hot Toy buyers who will now no longer purchase your items is growing.

Doubt it. It'll still sell for a decent amount until people finally get wind of this weeks after.

It's surprising how long it takes for people to find out about a re-release.

I can understand people that paid the stupid prices on ebay for the tumbler & batpod coz at the time it seemed it was a one off & afterall it was a vehicle & something HT had not done on that scale.
But i myself am glad i held out on some of the older figures that were selling for $400-$700 for example i nearlly bought dutch for about $400 but resisted & im so glad as they have announced the relaunch of the predator stuff, So yes sometimes HT does do the right thing with re visiting older characters but it doeasnt work with everyone.

they can cancel the bid or don't pay.... there is many retailer sell on the bay, so they should know.
I wander when is this gonna sold out? I remember last time was a long wait to sold out?

Bit the bullet and ordered on Flex. My brother convinced me as he just bought a 1:18 scale car that retails for over $800! He thought $500 was a steal for a 1:6 one. Plus having this Batmobile and the Burton Batmobile together will make for an awesome display!

Just been watching The Dark Knight and halfway through messing about on my phone I noticed SSC was on a go slow guess it was for this

My calculations say this will be at least £300 for us in the UK (ex shipping) so right on the cusp of the will I wont I decision.....
