If you want the real thing, check around with local metal shops. Keep in mind, it's really freaking heavy. There is also diamond plate aluminum. Much lighter and looks really good. Otherwise, there a plenty of faux diamond plate materials. I think Home Depot even has a plastic version as a ceiling/floor tile. Check local hardware stores in general (and of course, Google). You should be able to come up with several different options.

EDIT: There is also this on eBay. I have never seen it in person so I don't know how good/bad it looks.

cool, thanks. I will have to look into it. I defn won't be getting the real stuff. I think it's a very fitting look with this Tumbler though.

Odd here we are 5 August and no in hand HK pics yet........might be that release will be at near same time both in North America and Asia......otherwise we are pushing it to say Aug...and sometimes I wonder if this will be pushed back to Sept or later the way HT has been going lately..

Ya was wondering why we haven't seen any video reveals on this from HK. Guessing they haven't gotten their's in yet. I forget who it is that usually does those silent video reveals on YouTube.

I have emailed Big Bad Toy Store about the tumbler a couple of times and the only thing that they tell me is August. That was the last update that they received. Below is the response that I got back.

"Once your preorder arrives you will receive a e-mail notification and your credit card will be charged within a few hours.

I apologize that we don hot have a more specific date at this time for Hot Toys Tumbler. Sorry.
Manufacturers often do not tell us when items will be ready until the items are either in transit to us or about to ship to us. Manufacturers also often experience delays in the production or shipping of products so its hard to establish a specific release date. We will update our listings if more specific release & arrival information is known. "

So I gotta make sure that I have the funds in my account at all times which kinda sucks because you never really know when this will hit the distributors

The Tumbler is available in HK later today as per confirmed by Toysdaily forum. The first batch of preorder people have already receive call from Toy Hunters. We should be seeing in hand photos tomorrow and they have a picture of many cartons of tumblers being delivered.

Hopefully that means that BBTS will have it before the end of the month so that I can have this in hand at the end of the month lol

I have been to Toy Hunters in HK, always wondered how people lugged this big box down the escalators and into their house since most don't have a car or drive.
