I didn't put the spoilers on as it's back in the box. Nice LED's. It really is an amazing piece when you get overwhelmed by the sheer size.

It's actually more expensive.... that's $813 after taxes + Fedex fees, I was thinking about cancelling and ordering from Kametoys, but Kametoys doesn't have the Tumbler on stock anymore... If I cancell I lose $50 anyway because the NRD...

At this point I think they are about the same to me...

SSC: $813+Fedex fees

Kametoys: $800+(my lose NRD) $50

Daaamn.... So glad I don't live in Chile anymore, would stink to pay those prices.

Wow! $38 for shipping? I live in TX and it's only $29 for shipping. My Tumbler better be in great shape! N no dings on my box either! I'll be one upset buyer.

They're just gonna send it to you in the Batmobile brown mailer box.

The one that says "COLLECTIBLE", "BATMAN", and "BATMOBILE" all over it.

Wow! $38 for shipping? I live in TX and it's only $29 for shipping. My Tumbler better be in great shape! N no dings on my box either! I'll be one upset buyer.

if you ordered from SS, like DiFabio said, they will mail it in the Hot Toys box with nothing over it....so damage to the box is highly possible

Not sure, but you could request a pack out. It's 10 dollars extra.

Not sure if they'll do that for an item like this but I'd ask just in case if box condition is important.

Well it stinks... and I can't find this for under $600 on eBay, a guy from USA wanted to charge me $500 for the shipping only

But I don't think is convenient to cancell this now
I mean, Ebay shipping is very expensive too... and you don't really know the condition they will send you this. I will stick to SDC that are a serious dealer for this expensive toy...
and $50 is not that much if you are sure that this big bad boy will arrive safe to your home

Rodan, Tyranus: Por qué no hablamos en buen "shileno" y nos aconsejamos de donde encargar figuras: ebay, bbts, SDC, Kametoys, etc... Jajaj es broma no creo que al resto del foro les gustaría que postiaramos en castellano.

Now seriously, last time I bought from ebay I ordered 2 HT figures (Falconer and Tracker Predators) and when the figures arrive to Chile the post mail charged me in taxes about US$ 160!!! (no se a cuanto esta el dolar pero fueron como 83 lucas), I've bought HT figures before on Ebay and never had to pay taxes. After that bad expierence I decided to preorder the Batman DX12 an Joker 2.0 from Kametoys, cuz I didn't want to risking of paying ridiculous taxes. I've never ordered form SDC o bbts... Are those trusted places to order? Have you paid taxes in Chile buying form them?

Well we already tried to post in spanish and some members of the forum got mad ...

About what you said.. when ordered from eBay.. what was the postal service you hired? it was shipped to Chile, using public mail (i.e Correos de Chile, USPS, Hong Kong Post, etc) or private mail (Fedex, UPS, etc).. the private mail delivery not only charges you the customs taxes (which is right) they also charge you their own fees, which in Chile sometimes is just as much as 30-40% of the value of the item you're recieving (that sucks )...

Once I bought a figure from a forum member here, he marked the CIF value as $415, used public mail service, and I was not chrged by customs...

At the moment it seems Kametoys is a good choise, they lowered their prices, but they're not the best all the time. For example if you plan to get the Batpod this is cheaper from BBTS (including taxes and shipping, they also use USPS which is a good thing, and mark the figures as gifts) I got a figure once from SSC, and used Chilebox, so they sent the figure to Miami with free shipping, that was nice , except Chilebox then charged me like around $100 on shipping only (plus or course the customs taxes)...

The thing is, it's hard to say which is the best option to buy figures, I'll say you have to analyze case by case...

It's not really out yet, most of the eBay dealers don't have it in. Wait a week and it will be everywhere. I think.

That's insane. Shouldn't cost that much! No way!

A tip that might help: if you ask the sellers to lower the declared value on the box and mark it as a gift you won't have to pay ridiculous import taxes.
