I heard the Circuit City exclusive isn't very impressive, the Why So Serious image is only on the slip cover and not the case also it is quite wide because the journal is underneath it.

Here's a link for most of the exclusives and give aways for anyone interested,

Hmmm. Seems you're right about the slip cover. Thanks for the heads up great1. :rock

I thought the actual case had a different illustration. I'm still going to get it, but I'm glad someone told me ahead of time. (Those ads came be deceiving.)

I'm doing the midnight thing only because there is supposed to be giveaways at Best Buy.

Are all Best Buys doing the midnight sale? There's a best buy literally across the street of me.

Damn, the Thailand exclusive packaging is the nicest I've seen for TDK...

If you just can't wait for The Dark Knight on Blu-Ray or DVD, get in line. Literally.

Best Buy locations will have a midnight launch for what will surely be the biggest DVD of all time on Tuesday morning. If the math of midnight perplexes you, that's going from Monday night into Tuesday morning.

Some Circuit City and Blockbuster stores will also have the midnight sale, proving that both Circuit City and Blockbuster are still in business. And select Virgin Megastores will follow suit, because why not, really? I'd advise checking with your preferred local retailer to see if they're staying open through the midnight sale or if they're closing, re-opening, and then closing again.

Not sure if this applies only to USA.

My Best Buy is having the midnight sale, but my work schedule means I couldn't even watch it until tomorrow so I'll grab it on lunch.

I'll be picking up the Blu-Ray version since I'm getting a PS3 for Christmas. Depending on how the clown mask looks, I may get the Gift Set version. If it's anything like the recent Crystal Skull with Indy 4, I'll likely get it. Also, I'll be able to get their Joker playing card hand-out too.

I might also grab one of the Joker figurines since it's a miniaturized version of the DC Direct statue.

And since I'm a huge TDK fan and can't wait the extra two weeks until Christmas, I'll grab the basic edition DVD as well--probably at Wal-Mart if the Two-Face coin in their gift set doesn't look too cheap. I'll keep the DVD after Christmas for screen captures and such.

All in all, it's going to be an exciting day tomorrow.

I have been on high-defdigest and blu-ray.com trying to find one single clue that there may be some kind of bonus feature about the Joker. So far, most reviewers note that this is one part that is lacking. I am dissapointed, as not only was this Ledger's final completed role, but one of his best performances in what is surely the film of the year...

I can picture them doing a double-dip in the future...loaded with more extras, maybe when the emotions are less raw and they can do a full-out tribute. Hopefully they at least mention Ledger and his performance in the extras of tomorrow's edition.

I got an email this morning from Amazon that my batpod set has shipped. I want to get my hands on the DVD batman mask from Target now. Hopefully I'll get there tomorrow before they're sold out.

Quick question, are there plans for a future dvd with like missing footage...basically DK Deluxe.

Nolan has had only one of his films that has ever had a deleted scene on the disc. It was Insomnia. It's just not his thing so I very seriously doubt we'll ever get anything else down the line other than a fancy repackage of the same stuff if they do release it again. He's very adamant and vocal about having what he wants as the picture we see in theaters and edits accordingly.
