The weird for me is I'm hearing "quack quack" when I look at the portrait. And that body is looking kinda strange. Love the character and I never did pick up the DX 19, but for nearly $600, I don't think so.

Mainly has to do with them being the official distributor and also being a retailer. Sure they have great customer service but how they operate their business is not sustainable as it is not collector-friendly. I don't want to get into the details but their greed knows no bounds and they are going to pay for it if not already.

Joking aside, we really need 1/6 official wrestling figures.

WWE is leaving SO MUCH MONEY on the table. Be it HT, or anybody else. It needs to happen.
Kinda agree have you seen RFCustoms very own custom figures and some others they have potential to sell well. Only company that made one Wrestling figure was Storm Collectibles making Hulk Hogan from both his NWO look and American Icon look. Both sold pretty well.

Haven't opened my DX19 from Alter Ego yet, but I'm not really feeling like this is an affront to that. Maybe I'm not as persnickety as others, plus my favorite scene in the entire trinity is the Prewitt Building scene so the LED head and sticky bomb gun were pretty key to why I bought that figure. Not opposed to picking this set up down the line though.

I bought the TDK Armory set years back that came with the Armory and Batman figure and last year I sold the Armory alone because I had no space for it at the cost of buying the set so I practically have an Armory Batman figure for free, and that's fine since my previous representation of TDK was the 1/6 RAH Medicom (which was also awesome).

I think people should buy what they want and if HT keeps releasing the TDK suit over and over again it really depends on how big of a fan you are.

Glad I’m not alone. The cowl looks so alien. I thought the DX19 looked better in their comparisons, the exact opposite of what Hot Toys wants to illustrate.

I know Hot Toys can't spend endless resources on one figure, but I do wonder how they manage to mess up the proportions on some of their products. Don't they use digital scanning for the bodies? Surely there's enough source material out there to get the body dimensions right.

It seems like HT doesn't really care about accuracy- the new Bane figure is also larger and more muscular than Tom Hardy was in TDKR.

I'll probably just hang on to my DX12 with a custom mouth by Robbie the painter. But I'm not sure. I have been thinking about picking up the DX19

Would definitely love some attitude era figures. The thing is, you’d need a custom body for pretty much each male figure, which would then raise the price quite a bit each figure. Or just give the license to Star Ace and they’ll use the M34 for each wrestler :lol
