The Dark Knight Rises - 1/6th scale Batman Armory with Bruce Wayne Collectible Set

That Bruce figure is hideous and the cowl still miles away from where it should be.

The armory looks good at least.

The sooner InArt reveal their Bale the better.

Man, the headsculpt look horrible also the body is full of chicken skin texture, looks so weird....

This rehash does have some small improvements. To me, the bicep armor shape and position have both been improved. Likewise the new collar/chest piece final gives him some traps instead of the coat hanger look of past versions. The "upgraded" shoulder pads and gauntlet/hands are a lateral move to me, at best. And the cowl and mouth plates are changed, but aren't really better, just different. I guess, if I can find some bits and pieces to mod my DX19 with, I will. But otherwise, I'll sit this one out. My current DX with OT Customs bits is still a stronger likeness to me.

At least it looks fine when just in the armory without that goofy mouthplate, which would be my plan for this.

Will have to wait for Inart or HT's 8th version for the actual bats.

Honestly I'm pretty happy with it, the lack of mouth plates sucks, but this will satisfy my display for now, just hope the empty neck and cowl fit the DX 19 body cause I'll stuff that in there and utilize the better batman

I think this new HT body will remain on par with whatever InArt does. InArt (currently) have something of a leg up since they aren't planning on the armory, which a decent amount of ppl seem to not be too interested in. Though, given InArt's rising prices, the Batman figure alone will probably almost cost as much as these armory sets, especially given the complexity of the suit. I'd be weary of InArt's QC with the TDK suit. The headsulpt(s) is where the real debate will be and will make or break their offering. Pretty confident they will manage it. It would be nice if they used the same sculptors of the 1:1 QS statue as that's pretty perfect, but it would seem InArt and Queen don't cross and only just really share licenses.

I'm tempted by this armory for the presence and display. The real thing is so cool in person and made me think to myself "I want one of those." It's a space eater though and I already have larger collectibles that are eating into my space as it is

Yea, I don't think you need this with how nice your custom DX19 is with the OT parts. Your custom is pretty bang on.

Sadly my updated OT cowl with his custom eyes and mouth plate took a fall last week. So if anyone is selling their’s let me know.

On a side note I’m also bothered by how the hands look in this new release with the new gauntlets. They look a little too tiny at the wrist.

I mean you’re entitled to your opinion. In my experience he’s just temperamental, because he’s an artist. But so am I, lol. So I get it, and it doesn’t bother me.
