Sculpt is bad overall for Bale and mouth plate. But excited for the overall set. Have one more payment left for next month. I'll be comparing to DX19 too. Wonder if the mouth plates are interchangeable?

If you end up not being satisfied with the power pose Bruce Wayne I'd be willing to buy it, depending on price.

It doesn't bother me because I'll never be sitting there looking at the side of his head but I do agree they could have covered it. The hair on the original Nicholson Joker hid the seam better and that was over a decade ago.

I think there comes a point where HT just okays these things just to release them.

Yeah that’s gotta be the worst seam line of all time.

The kicker I suppose is it’s designed for a body that’s meant to appear seamless. What a blunder.

You make a salient point, but if I owned this (which, for full disclosure, I don't and likely won't), the mere awareness of it being there would play on my mind endlessly. Mileage on that varies though, I'll concede that.

Even with a much improved sculpt, the downgrade on that tee really hurts the figure. The puffy neckline and shoulders of that tee make it look more like a cheap sweater vest than a fine cotton Sunspel undershirt...

Had this one pre-ordered after being wowed by how their prototype Bruce Wayne looked, but everything about their final Wayne product has been downgraded. Now, I'm seriously considering canceling it (EDIT: just canceled it), and this would mark my first cancelation in close to a decade of Hot Toys figures...

Fair enough, fair enough. The fact that it's a simple slim fitting tee really must make that point so painfully clear as well, since superhero spandex and baggy clothes tends to be more forgiving.

It's very possible that this artist is an hidden gem, but these days, what with face swapping/enhancing AI and all, I've become a little more cynical unfortunately.

Thats a real sculpt with custom paint, no AI, lots of talented artists around but they’re typically booked up for years, the good ones are.

That's a Pat Bateman sculpt, not Bruce Wayne. It's one of the best Christian Bale sculpts I've seen. But I can actually see the difference, so this isn't the right substitute.
