I just find it a little weird for someone to sleep with someone they hate, and the person that person's father, lol, seems just so odd,
specially when Bane loved her and everything, seems bizarre

no i dont want that no name fool being batman. make a freakin comic but not a movie. shoulda named his ass richard gryson instead of fricken robin. lol wow. i rolled my eyes when she said his name.:slap

Nope. Instead you want Peter Parker's origin raped and the nerdy kid aspect replaced by a ********* hipster. :cuckoo:

but parkers origin wasnt raped. and why do you always bring up spiderman in the batan thread.:dunno

Who's a fanboy in asm thread. just cuz you dont like it doesnt mean the people that do are fanboys. So backwards.:dunno

As you said it was edited out to be included in the sequel. Last I checked, Peter Parker wasn't genetically engineered to play Spider-Man, but he is in this reboot. Thank you, troll through. :wave

Troll through huh ? Shut up your the definition of a troll/ cyber bully you have no right to call anybody that and last time I checked Peter wasn't genetically enhanced in the movie. For somebody that's supposedly supposed to be older more mature you act like your fifteen blindly throwing around the word troll lol.

His father will have tinkered with his genes to make him Spider-Man. The Spider just initiated it. That was the origin that was cut out of the first film but will be expanded upon in the sequels. Also, it would be entirely ironic if I was a 15-year-old troll. Because despite that, at the very least, my grammar and sentence structure denote at minimum, someone who finished high school vs. the above "paragraph" which looks like it was written by an angry 8th grader. :lol

Lol says someone who supposedly supposed to be an older man and spends 24 hrs a day arguing with people younger then him. What u said may be true but if so I'm glad the cut it out and it wasn't in the final movie ergo it doesn't count lol keep tryin.

She did....but she couldn't let them know she knew that. :lol She probably also could have figured out the codes on her own as well....but I think she enjoyed deceiving Batman/Bruce completely....having him fall for her and having no idea who she really was.
Yeah, there's also that angle.

As for the whole "not letting them know" thing, she nearly gave herself away when she was down there with Fox and Bruce, after they did the deed. I can't remember the exact quote, but it wasn't so much what she said, it was also her body language. It was very subtle, and I didn't even think anything of it, until after I left the theater.

Anyway, speaking of Talia, I'm usually good at picking up on twists like that, but she fooled me. I will say, I thought it was weird how she was the one that ended up with Wayne Enterprises. That should've been a dead giveaway, if anything. I guess I really wanted Bruce to have his Rachel and was taken for a ride instead. Have to say, well done to both Marion and Nolan.

She's a cold hearted (except when it comes to Bane) killer - not that surprising. It was all part of her act. And Bane was an adult when she was a child. I wouldn't be surprised if he loved her more as a daughter than a romantic interest.

I really need to watch this again and pay better attention to Talia as Miranda. I admit too, I was completely fooled. Did not see that coming at all...just kind of figured her for a not very exciting love interest for Bruce...then when we find out she was the child who escaped..and who she really was...I was very surprised.

I don't think Blackmask has seen to many movies. :lol

He doesn't seem to get pretty standard cinematic devices. :lol

please explain further

I think he means that a female villain sleeping with the guy she is planning to deceive/kill is something that has been done in movies many times before. Just look up "femme fatale". You'll find this type of character has been in cinema for a very long time.

You've asked why to a lot of questions that are pretty standard cinematic devices.

You've never seen a revenge movie before? In a good revenge movie, it's not about killing the person who caused you harm, it's about destroying them from inside out. To make them feel pain.

You don't understand how Talia could have ****ed Bruce, got him to trust her, and then ruin his entire world?

BUT HE DIDNT KNOW IT WAS HER!!!

that's what I dont get, if she told him it was her before going to the prison it would make complete sense,
the Fact that Bruce showed up in Gotham and she was able to show him that he was betrayed was never even supposed to happen.

those movies you are talking about, the guy finds out eventually, but in this movie, Talia slept with him and betrayed him without Bruce ever knowing, what's the point in that,

Unless Talia made a video, telling Bruce she betrayed him, and showed it to him in the prison, but that never happen,
thats what I dont get, the betrayal of Bruce was something we as the audience would know about, but If bruce never escaped, he would have never known, :gah:

this is different than the other movies you talk about

Where's that Billy Madison quote about what you just said...:lol

The concept is one of the most used revenge tactics. The WHOLE POINT was to DESTROY Bruce from the inside out using the people he cared about.

She was his friend. She got intimate with him. Got him to trust her. To make sure he gives her the bomb.

You think she wasn't going to tell him? She was. No doubt about it.

Bane's speech...that's not him talking to Bruce. It's Talia. He's telling Bruce what Talia told him to say.

The ENTIRE POINT was to both destroy Gotham, and get revenge for her father, making Bruce suffer. Imagine his face, had he not fixed his back, and saw Talia on the screen holding the detonator. Revenge complete.

It's the slow knife. The one that cuts deepest. That whole little speech was basically her saying "I ****ed you so hard in every way I possibly could. You killed my father, now your pain begins."

Reread my earlier posts. She wanted him to trust her. She wanted the codes - which maybe she could have gotten without him...maybe not...but having him and Fox trust her made it easier for her to have access to the device.

She and Bane had plans to have Bruce/Batman killed while in prison. After he watched Gotham destroyed - which would have destroyed him emotionally. Because he escaped she had the opportunity to really screw him over by revealing who she is and stabbing him. That was an extra bonus for her... perhaps not something she had originally planned....but it made her betrayal even more devastating to him and his death more delicious to her. Or maybe she planned to reveal it to him all along - as Celtic said.

Not sure what is so difficult to understand?

It never even dawned on me that Fox could have saved the day for everyone by simply flooding the chamber in that scene. :lol That one hasn't even been one of the big nitpicks.

And I hope everyone watches the brief clip after the credits. Probably the funniest one of all.

actually, you just made me think of something,

what if Bruce was to believe that Talia died in the Explosion, just like Rachel, and that would have crushed his spirit even more than anything else, what if he was never supposed to know, and thinking the only other woman he ever cared about just died, in a similar way to Rachel,

kinda makes me wonder if that was the plan, to never know the truth, but to suffer because she died.

that never occurred to me either, that Fox flooding the chamber would have saved the city, and kill the two bad guys all at once.... :slap :lol

Well, he didn't know Talia was bad, but still... Kinda weird that a few scenes earlier he was asking about the flood fail safe to prevent the device from getting into the wrong hands and now here he is with armed henchman in the chamber and he just helps activate it. :lol

Yes that would have been the smart thing for Fox to do...but also would have been rather anticlimactic. :lol And we would have missed out on some good fight scenes!
