On a completely different note did they ever announce which scene was playing when the Aurora gunman burst into the theater? I had initially heard that it was during an "onscreen shootout" so I assumed it was either the alley or stock exchange.

Yeah, it was the scene in the bar where Selina Kyle gets double-crossed by Stryver (Daggett's goon) and there's the shootout there.

How tragic. Since I saw the movie for the first time on its third weekend I actually forgot about the shooting while watching the movie and then when that sniper opened up from the fire escape it suddenly hit me and I wondered if that was the very scene that fans like me started to get shot. And I was right. :(

I'm sorry, but I really hope there isn't a reboot with JGL. Mostly because it would have to be similar style to Nolan's since it'd be a spinoff type of film & I just want to see something different for once.
They could do a reboot based "around" that concept. Batman could be dying of old age, but comes to the realization that Gotham still needs Batman, so he finds a replacement. Like Batman Beyond... without the jetpacks. >.>

One thing about BATMAN BEYOND that I was loved is why Bruce finally decides to give up being Batman and retire. Not because of some girl or because he's a whiney tittybaby who's looking for any excuse to stop, but because he physically can't be Batman anymore. That's it. He's aged and has developed a heart condition from all of the physical and psychological abuse he's put himself through. On his last night out as Batman he actually has to use a gun to escape. He does not fire it, of course... he just has to grab it and hold it on the bad guys in order to get away. And that did it. He realizes then that he can't be Batman anymore. So he has to hang it up. Great stuff, and utterly in line with the character.

He sounds like a fruity Hans Gruber.

I bet our own personal movie theme from him would sound a lot like Molossus, especially when we're on the crapper.

Agreed. The opening of Batman Beyond was awesome.

Anyway, I quite like the retiring for a girl concept. As for the tittybaby part... :lol

What's da matta?

That's who he waited for. That's the woman that retired the Batman.

If she didn't die or never existed there would be no TDKR. There would be no TDKR. There would be no TDKR.
