What're you laughing at? Mr. 13 times Avengers![]()
He has the right to laugh. He saw a film 13 times that he understood the first viewing instead of having to go back a 10th time to discover things that were blatantly obvious the first time around.![]()
Do I look like Voorhees to you![]()
I can appreciate the differences between Avengers and TDKR.
Hulk smashing Loki is being hailed as the best, most fun moment of 2012, not just for summer movies but superhero movies in general.
I didn't require multiple viewings to comprehend that, it was a purely viceral lol moment that holds up to multiple viewings.
TDKR simply did not have a scene of that kinetic nature, it was more of a slow burn, and that's fine.
Maybe the sewer fight comes close.
What i'm getting at is that it's ok for TDKR to require multiple viewings to appreciate all the layers involved in the same manner that it's ok for Avengers to not require multiple viewings to appreciate a Hulk smashing Loki scene.
Both movies brought their A game to the table.
Ok, maybe TDKR brought its A minus game.
A prepubescent Voorhees, absolutely!![]()
