Joaquin Phoenix more than likely will be nominated for The Master and his fans are saying how laughable it is that TDKR would even be considered for anything oscar related.

Or was it his mom that said that. :lol

This is an alternate universe where Bruce Wayne died instead of his parents. Causing His father Thomas Wayne to become Batman and his mother Martha to go insane and become the Joker.
Batman Flashpoint should be the next reboot

Cool concept for an Elseworlds tale, but not for a Batman franchise. :nono

you know, I Was watching Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance today,

and I could not help but think of This movie, of course Ghost Rider was crap... and Batman was good as far as a Nolan/Bale movie goes,

but, I mean, seriously, A ghost rider movie without Ghost rider, and a Batman movie without batman,

both characters want to get rid of that "Curse" that they have, they escape from it, (Ghost Rider by leaving to Europe, Bruce Wayne by becoming a hermit)

then when chaos starts they are brought up to the task to protect the innocent....

both movies had the heroes show up at the beginning, and at the end, Batman/ fire skull ghost Rider.

who was involved in both movies?
David S. Goyer

I mean, I know everyone Loves Rises, but, I See parallels, tired hero that wants to quit, leave the curse, escaping, only to come back at the end because he has to save someone......

But he didn't quit.

He saved Gotham, for the 3rd time.

He created a symbol for justice and then passed the torch.

Why?

He's beat to ****, he's human.

He was also finally able to move past his frozen state of when his parents were killed, his life could now continue, hence him no longer needing Alfred to babysit him anymore.

His and Alfred's life could now move forward.

But guess what, even with Bruce Wayne retired his resources are still capable of keeping the symbol alive.

Batman still exists for when the next villain arrives.

New person using that symbol Bruce Wayne left behind, plus his gadgets as well.

I have problems with the movie, him "quitting" not one of them though.

You want to see quitting, you should see my sex drive.

What do you mean you have no problem with him quitting?

Batman doesn't quit. He's been doing it since 1939. :tap

:lol

See, that's just it.

I would agree that BW quit on Gotham had he not passed the torch, but he did. :yess:

Now give me an extended cut that is fleshed out so that characters and their associated stories have more room to breathe.

The only reason Batman never quits is because there would be no comic without him. I don't understand why anyone would expect a movie to bow to a comic device it has no use for.

It would be one thing if these were going to be made every couple years until Nolan and Bale were dead. They aren't, so it isn't.

If Nolan dies today, WB will release an extended cut of TDKR tomorrow with a CG Joker and Blake as Batman meeting Superman with an after credits scene. :lol
