Extended Cut not happening.

From SHH:

Word from Christopher Nolan's reps about the situation, saying, "insiders close to the director confirmed to us yesterday that no such plans exist, and reports of an extended cut of the film are completely false."

I really didn't believe the extended cut, specially since Nolan doesn't really do that,

Honestly, I hated the movie when I first saw it. I hated the ending and I hated the pacing. But seeing it a second (and third time on IMAX), I loved it. I don't need more content to fill it up. Once you know what's going on, you know what's going on. The movie flies by for me and doesn't drag. Adding more content to it that isn't needed (despite it might helping a bit explain all the random jumps in time) would bog it down.

Also, this means the inevitable Bluray boxset they release of the trilogy will be the ultimate thing for more than 6 months :yess:

:horror YOU BASTARD!

Blame Nolan. :lol

I was hoping the extended cut removed the 8 year gap, removed the forced LOS connection, removed the erratic time frame and editing, removed Talia's death, hell, just removed Talia completely. :rotfl

Like I said, I didn't like the ending and I failed to mention I hated the 8 year gap. I thought this would start up having Batman gone in a totally different direction. But I think it all makes sense in the context of Dent's death. I'm excited for the reboot. Batman may be retired in that universe but the character never will end :yess:

When being presenting with something over and over and over untill you love it, is called brainwashing.

That's a half-truth. It's generally harder to brainwash someone past a certain age. Children are highly subjective to the technique though.

Still, I'd imagine you would have to like something well enough to sit through it over and over again, assuming someone isn't holding a gun to your head. :lol

I dunno. There're a hell of a lot of sheep here. Especially where Nolan's Batman is concerned. BobbyC's $1k head proved that. :lol
