You're absolutely right! Every other movie before July 16 forced Batman to his knees.

TDKR made the old mistake of starting off the film with the best stunt. The airplane sequence with Bane was the coolest part of the film. There was no up from there.

It wasn't a bad film, but it wasn't great either. The second film was much better.

The film was one constant ride up for me - the end was just astounding.

It was a great film.
