Same difference, though. He's not happy with the current version that's available, just like you aren't happy with the current version of Star Wars. Saying that he should buy the version that's available, even if it's not the one that he wants, is like me telling you that you should buy the altered Star Wars Blu-Rays (or another set) instead of your Harmy's because they're official and they're available.

$18.99 bluray at Amazon. :yess:

I am a geek, I love BB/TDK, therefore it is necessary that I own TDKR on bluray.

I'm either going to like this movie more, or end up hating up.

Don't know yet.

Will report back my findings Tuesday evening.

Please stay up for it. :rotfl

We're not talking about special features or packaging. He didn't download those. We're talking about the movie itself.

I already stated: I *did* by the official SW blu-rays. But hey, enjoy your opinion, do whatever you think is best, bla bla bla.

Looking forward to your review jye. I'll be weighing in with my updated perspective on the film too which I'm sure will be the most anticipated moment of the thread. :D

The movie I downloaded for some odd reason is the same film I saw in theaters months ago. Hopefully the home video versions are better.

Here's my review,

It's the same movie I saw in theaters months ago. I feel gypped and I want my money back . . . that guy with the mask and Talia's horrible death scene are still in this.

Y U NO FIX NOLEN?

A very important part of the film, a death scene is. :lecture

That's why I said "another set." I don't pirate, nor have I ever pirated, but I think that people need to learn to get off of their high horses.

Well, my original review for TDKR was this:

"Best visual/presentation ever with the 15/70 Imax"

I haz a feeling that's not going to carry over into my living room. :rotfl

So all i'm left with iz da story to wow me. :panic:

All kidding aside, i'm sorry to bust Nolan's 'I only do things once because i'm a filmaking god" because this movie in its current state is heavily flawed and in desperate need of an extended cut.

If Nolan has ever wondered if a reason would ever exist for him to reconsider his filmaking MO, this would be that time.

Yes Nolan, put your tail inbetween your legs, time to put on your big girl panties, and fix this movie.

Just because you beat TDK's box office does it mean its better.

Hell, even Void won't argue with dis one.

If you really thought I was on a "high horse" then I'm guessing you have pirated something at some point. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that DiFabio didn't think I was really coming down on him.

**forwards DiFabio a quick Paypal bribe**

It did? Wow, impressed.

I never downloaded a pirated copy before but I don't really feel bad about it. I have it up on my desktop right now, but, I haven't even really watched it.

Am I going to hell? :(

Does Khev think less of me? :(

What if I don't buy TDKR on VHS? :(

looking forward to picking this Blu-ray up this week, will probably watch it next weekend though.

I haven't. I've never had any desire to, nor have I ever felt the need to. I just feel like you're being extremely judgmental for someone who's purchased unlicensed copies of Star Wars.

DiFabio

Do you think dis movie can be salvaged with a Nolan approved extended cut.

No.

Nolan can only salvage his reputation if he sacrifices himself and dies in a nuclear blast for da world.

I liked it....This movie was great...Can't wait to own this one...I'm so glad it was all part of the Joker's plan to create TDKR...Pure genius talent by Nolan...
