You had me at Boidcat

:lol

I'm too lazy to look it up. To what extent will Michael Mann be commenting? That sounds pretty cool. I've always thought it'd be a cool idea actually to have a well known movie maker do a commentary on another film that he had nothing to do with. A Ridley Scott commentary on Aliens for example would be cool

Or Cameron on Brometheus :monkey4

He was really looking forward to that film. I never heard what he thought of it. Not that you'd necessarily get complete honesty. Heck that's probably why such an idea (directors doing commentaries on other director's films) wouldn't take hold. What would be the point if they censor their feelings.

Didn't one of the Matrix sequels have an Ebert/Roeper commentary where they just ripped on it the whole time?

they had two sets of commentaries.

One commentary track was the critics that loved the movies (They praise almost every single thing about all 3 movies)

then They have another commentary track where critics that Hated the movie talk about all 3 movies.

the stupid thing about that one is that Yes they hate the movies, but their commentaries are complete crap.
They don't really trash the movies as much as they could,
And there is a lot of silence in that commentary. For people that hated the movie they sure had a funny way of showing it. There is a lot of silence and they criticize the movie but not as much I was hoping they did.

that second commentary is a waste of time.

Some awesome new behind the scenes shots of Ledger and Bale from TDK:

This is why we need more comprehensive special features, Nolan! You say how much you respected Heath, and how much you loved the guy, and how great he was, now, why don't you let the fans see more of the man behind the curtain? Same goes for deleted scenes. You're going to keep fans from seeing, what could very well be, and what most likely are, some absolute gems from his Oscar winning performance because you disagree with it? If you truly respected him so much, you'd let people appreciate ALL of his work, even if it didn't make it into your final "vision."

That picture of Heath offends and saddens me, I see what Nolan means. I don't want to see this behind the scenes stuff that shows Ledger having fun.

Quick Warner Bros. take that **** down so people can't see.

i like to see these pics, as i get tired about hearing how he lost himself in the role of The Joker. These kind of show him still being himself. Having a good time with other on the set.

On a sidenote: How tall was Heath? He seems like he is well into the 6 foot range. especially in that second pic.

6 something. Those guys are just really, really short.

I hope HT gives us a behind the scenes Joker.

They might even give us a SDCC Exclusive Overdose DOA HL.

Too tsunami, yo. U iz gunna giv Boidcat a sad, Jyecat. I no dis bcuz u iz givn me a sad n Boidcat is bigger Nolancat fan den u or I iz.

Y'know, I haven't seen this movie since it was at the theater. I haven't felt much need for it. But with all the talk in the Man of Steel thread I'm wondering if I wouldn't appreciate it more watching it now, in relation to Man of Steel.

The best way to rewatch it is marathon style

Even if not back to back - make it 3 days if you must

I'm trying to hold back rewatching for as long as I can, just so I can savour the trilogy that much more when I do rewatch
